Life in the universe? Does it exsist?

Does life in the universe exist? The numbers say yes.

Each galaxy has a few billion stars in it. Those stars can have any where to 1 to 10 planets orbiting around them so that puts us at about 100 Billion planets per galaxy. Even if the only possible way to get life on another planet were to have the same exact distance from earth and the sun. There's probably a few Billion of them. Because there ARE Hundreds of billions of galaxy's, galaxy's which contain BILLIONS of stars and Hundreds of billions of planets.

We know this as scientific fact, Hubble space telescope has taken detailed pictures of other galaxy's. So the universe is roughly about 13 billion year's old. The whole thing since the big bang, and yes I'm acting as the big bang actually happened which it did. Well there is no proof of god, There are several versions of the bible and the bible was written by men not by god. I am of course atheist.

We may not have life in our solar system, but I'm almost 100% sure we do in our galaxy and if not in our galaxy some other galaxy. Some people say "Well hey! how come they haven't tried to contact us?". Okay, First of all. What the hell makes you think they are super advanced? our planet is roughly 4.6 Billion years old. Let's say, There planet was 7.6 Billion years old. They have a lot of time ahead of us. Maybe they are only 2.7 Billion years old? Planets come in all shapes and sizes too. There is also no guarantee that intelligent life will ever evolve on that planet.

Some people might say, "Oh but theres no water in space!" Actually there is plenty plenty plenty of water.. What do you think comets are made of? Comets are frozen water and dirt.. Organic material. Air, Air is around..
Mar's does have air on it but it's just too thin for us to breath.

Perhaps these civilizations have come and gone? We have proof of black holes. Stars do explode into supernovas if big enough. Our star, "The sun". Will not become a black hole or a supernova. It just lack's the Umph. It doesn't have the mass to pull that kinda thing off. Our star will turn into a red giant and expand, It will engulf our solar system and then cool down into a way smaller white dwarf.. That WILL be the end of planet earth.

I went a little off topic while staying with the whole flow, but thats why I'm almost 100% sure that there IS life on other planets. Some of it being intelligent. Oh and by the way. They will NOT look like us if they are to ever be seen.

Oh and we do know what the end of the universe is. It was discovered not too a long ago using the hubble space telescope. See, There is something called "Dark Energy" and eventually Dark Energy will become stronger then gravity. Gravity holds together everything. The atoms that everything is made of, Gravity effects everything to the sub atomic level. See, We know what matter is, everything is made of matter. Well there is Dark matter and matter. Dark matter is what holds clusters of galaxy's in place. Millions of galaxy's all clustered around each other.. Well Dark matter is what surrounds these galaxy's and holds them. so they don't all go floating around. Don't get me wrong, galaxy's do crash into each other from time to time. Anyway, There is 5x more dark matter then normal matter. Even when you add all of that up, that only accounts for 1/3 of the universe. What's the rest made of? Dark energy.. Which will one day become stronger then gravity and everything will unbind. It's what scientists call "The big rip".

Life in the universe? Does it exsist?

Try to be spell exist right please next time. :)

Anyways back on topic, it STILL hasn't been proven that there are other living things in the Universe. Therefore, I cannot say if they exist or not.

But one possibility will always remain if they are out there or not.
I want to believe there out there, but its difficult to say so.

To answer your question, yes there is life in the universe. We are in the universe...

To what you actually meant... It is very very veeeeerrryy unlikely we are the only living beings amoung trillions of planets in the universe. Its almost safe to say no, we are not the only ones.

I've never heard of that dark matter before, so I can't really say anything about that..

But there is a pretty much gigantic possibility of there being life on other planets. Honestly, when you really look at the numbers, we are grain of sand in the universe.

It is truly idiotic to think there is no life beyond earth, in the vast expanse of space.

This stuff REALLY interests me alot...i believe there are other living creatures like us humans. Sometimes i lay in bed thinking about it. Its something that i accually like learning about. Mabye this planet was in the "future" before until it died off then life came back , how in the world can someone tell me..."your wrong" there is NO proof, and therefore i believe there is other life on other planets, one day JUST MABYE ONE DAY we will meet someone from another planet....do you know how INTERESTING that would be....

Well There is a planet in our galaxy that scientists do think could be another earth. Gleiese 581 c

IF we do meet someone on other planets.. they HAVE to be much more advanced. Do you know how much one lightyear is? That's 6 TRILLON miles. The planet I'm talking about Gleiese 581 c which orbits a red dwarf star thats 20 Lightyears away. So unless they have figured out how to travel 99.9% the speed of light, which is when time stops or they have figured out some sort of stasis thing. Gleiese 581 c seems to be the right distance from its sun for water to go into liquid form. It's unlikely though. Gleiese 581 d looks to be more habbitable...

I mean don't get me wrong, Traveling near the speed of light, Bending space time, It's all possible in theory. We just dont have the slightest idea what kind of device you'd need to do that.... god.. the math for that would take up 100 whiteboards lol.

Yea, imagine if when we died we lived on another planet or something like in the future like when we kids..hoverboards and stuff. what if there was a clone of earth SOMEWHERE in the universe. A place where everything was the same attributes except for land feautures . Imagine if we truely dont know how BIG the universe is ....its goes on...forever...

I am sure it exists, we are only 1 planet out of 100 of billions, do you really think that there is no other life ?... If you do then sorry to say but you must be "retarted" seriously..

The numbers dont say yes, they say that it is quite likely, but not necessarily yes.
Anyway, it might be quite a long time if we ever do find life because any of the planets thought to have life are so far away.

Another thing that most people don`t think about is how if there is life on earth how it would completely destroy our current theories. In the bible it says that there is only life on earth, if this is proven wrong then almost all religion would crumble. An incident similar to when Copernicus and Galilieo said the sun revolved around the earth and therefore were put in prison for a very long time, this same thing would happen if we found life on another planet

I don't think ANYONE is delusional enough as to think that we're the only life in the universe.
Just because we haven't found anything it doesn't mean there's not something out there.

    tl;dr

It is impossible to know until we have a living specimen. There is no point in debating this.

    Fail.

The universe is infinite, the possibility of life is definite. A race could possibly have discovered travel through wormholes, which is probably the only way we would ever be able to interact with another complex species. Wormholes would be the solution to long distance travel, but since the universe is infinite, otherworldly explorers would have a minute chance of stumbling across Earth.

We have yet to find a planet with water on it, though.

    Until then, I am skeptical.
