On Sythe How Are The OSRS Membership Codes So Cheap?

Hi all,

The prices are very low for OSRS membership pre-paid codes on Sythe. How do people get their hands on these cards? I remember the last time I saw them in a gas station the pre-paid membership cards were more expensive than the prices off of the main OSRS website.

Wouldn’t the retailers be responsible for it, not Jagex?

And how does Jagex know I’m the person with a fake credit card? My friend could of given me a membership card as a gift.

A lot of the time currency conversion comes into play, I know a few sellers in south america get them cheaper and can then sell them overseas (on here) for more.

depends on the amount of days i pay 5.3m for 16 days

 

14days = bonds in-game is like 5m so there isn't much difference

 

Well it just crashed to 4.4m according to runelite, regardless i bought also a 292 code for 35 bucks its down to 33 bucks at least my provider, still way cheaper then runescapes 3 month only for 30 bucks basically

 

ive used codes for about 20 accounts now, Never an issue with them..

 

codes are not carded that's just false info. it's like someone above said, this is a result of what's called 'localized pricing'. you can't make a code cost 5 usd in venezuala or brazil because then it's like it costs 40 or 50 dollars to them. the 07 codes are all obtained specifically in brazil using the localized price difference and then resold at a slightly higher price which is still a bit below the price u can buy them at retail value in all other countries.
