    If they had this feature, scammers would abuse it to change their name so no one would know who they were, also, they're would be heaps of requests. This is just what I think anyway...

    No, not so you can blatantly change it...THERE IS A WAY TO CHANGE IT but only administrators have this power.

    Well you could go donate $200 and upload an username image and just make it look different from your other name.

    Matthew wouldn't let you. It needs to be your actual username in the image so mods can identify you. Name changes just aren't allowed. You can either keep your name, or you can start a new account, it's up to you.
