so i want to put in a ssd inside of this system but i have no clue on what type of ssd i need to buy
any recommended link of a ssd i can install would be super helpful thanks!

 

You should search for "Sata 3 SSD 2.5" and pick one in the storage capacity that you need.

I've had good luck with the Samsung and WD ones.

It is possible a "m.2 nvme gen 3" would fit but it isn't super obvious to me from a quick glance at the spec sheet.

 

first thing you should do is look at your motherboard and see if you have space for an m.2 drive on the motherboard (a simple google search of your motherboard will tell you if it has one)

assuming you dont have an m.2 slot you can just buy a regular 2.5" sata ssd which will be slower than an m.2 but will still take less than 15-20 seconds to boot up windows
