I do hate the word "Terrorist". Do you know why they are called Terrorists? It's because they are not a country or a state so they cannot "Technically" Declare war on America and the United Kingdom and whoever else they want to fight. If Osama were to Take over a country and become president of it or king whatever he wishes he would be called a "Former terrorist" or not one at all.

So what I'm asking you is, Do you think it's right to call them terrorists? I think they have every right to attack a country. Using a plane to take down a building or anything is nothing new. Japan used planes and drove them into ships in WWII. They were not called terrorists. It's simply a tactic. So yes, they are called terrorists just because they are not a part of a country. So yet again I raise the question.


Do you think it is right. There is no right or wrong answer. Just opinion.

It's only called terror because they are not part of a country.. No matter what ANY country did to you.. no matter how much terror they caused they couldn't be called terrorists..


The point of the word terrorist is its just a bunch of people causing terror.. it couldn't be called or considered war because they aren't a country or a state. so that's the only thing left to call them and it's the only thing left that can technically label what they are doing. I just think that word is a bit silly and I wish they would call them something more respectful.. they are fighting for something they believe in.

 

They'r called terrorists because there is a group of people in south arabia, i'm not sure what its called where they suicide themselfs and suicide others, explode bombs and etc, so i think yeah every killer from iraq, south arabia should be called terrorists, they just look like them.

Yes, In a world wide WAR. there is a huge difference. the japanese soldiers were not terrorists, they were only doing what there leader's was telling them to and the ones that did fly planes into ships where brainwashed.

Terrorists spawn terror with explosive or other unecessary violent tactics. We can't brand them as some other countries doing it so the term terrorist is just a broad term to use on people that threaten our order. Even if they did belong to a certain country out to get us we'd still relate to them as terrorists to some degree.

Yes, I agree that they should be called terrorists because that's exactly what they do, they terrorize. The Muslim terrorist groups aren't really trying to conquer nations, they're just there to cause terror the the United States and other coalition nations because of religious belief.

Furthermore, you don't need to justify something with a name. If you killed someone and I called you a pig, it doesn't mean that your not a murderer.

 

The Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor is a horrible example. The Japanese attacked American Soldiers, not civilians, at a time of war. Sure, the United States may not have been technically in WWII at the time, but it was a given that they would join.

The difference between a terrorist and a soldier is who they attack. You don't see Japanese pilots flying their planes into our cities, soldiers generally keep their attacks directed toward other military personnel.

 

Is that so? The Taliban fights for control of Afghanistan, and IRA fights to free Ireland from the UK, to name a few example.


I know IRA isn't muslim, so feel free to not point that out.
