    Do You Bother Entering Competitions?
    I can honestly say that I have NEVER won ANYTHING in a SINGLE competition. Recently, I've been thinking to myself that competitions are nothing more than gimmicks to get readers/customers/etc. I've participated in over 15 major ones in the past 2 years.

    Overall, competitions are pointless to join, like winning the lottery, the odds of winning is small.

    If they are free then fuck it I'll join since there is nothing to lose
    and nah it's not a gimmick it just that they know a shit load of people will join but people really do win

    Well, i never join competitions. A friend of mine was the same way, except when they did the every 10 minutes competition, which gave people free xbox 360's...he tried...and won.

    Free xbox 360 before they were sold to the public....lucky bastard. (no XBL for a week though >:p)

    Not really. Although...

    I was reading an issue of Kerrang! and I saw an ad for a competition where I just had to answer "Which band is set to have their own game released this month". Prize is a 360.

    The answer's Metallica so I just sent an e-mail in and am waiting. I won't say no to a practically free 360.

    Nope,Chances of our winning for me are like 1-1000 And knowing my Luck I'll never win anything from a contest.

    I enter a lot of competitions... I don't enter many competitions on the internet though. The only reason I enter competitions is for competitive fun... You don't really get much fun out of making a signature, posting it on a forum and waiting for a response do you?

    I enter competitions but I dont care if I win or not, because It can just be the thrill of maybe winning I like skate competitions more than anything.

    If you participate in competitions and dont win, its your fault because you're not talented or skilled. a competition requires you to do something better than someone else.
