IRL Market Restrictions.

I believe that there should be either restrictions, or guidelines as to what can be posted in the Real life Items Market.


As there are drug related items, and actual drugs being sold, would that not make this site illegal?

And we all know that's a big no-no. .

The selling of Cannabis seeds in Belgium is illegal.
We need to consider the laws of ALL countries.

 

then that is the persons responsibility not to buy them if they live in a country where it is illegal.

 

It is also the seller's responsibly not to sell to that country, and this website's responsibility to set guidelines to that.

eBay does not permit the sale of Air Rifles, but they ARE legal in many countries; just not all.

Well if you want to put it that way, let's 'legalize' the sale of Marijuana on Sythe, because it is legal in the Netherlands.

See the part on contraband. I believe that it would apply to marijuana seeds as well. I'm sure that if you see something like you've mentioned, you should just report it.

 

no, ask physnosis; it is not ILLEGAL to sell seeds, i think he knows what he is doing because ALL packages are inspected at MOST of the destinations, and before the package is sold, so if it is illegal, both of the people ARE at fault, BUT; the fact of its up to the person who sold them to make the final decision.

 

It is illegal to sell seeds, based on location.
The internet = The whole world.

I personally think you should sell seeds elsewhere. For god's sake, someone was selling damn nice pencils and his thread got locked.

 

I never said it wasn't illegal. All I'm saying is that it sounds like it could fall under the category of contraband. It's not a far leap from tobacco related products to drug related products.

 

true yet the fact is, if its not illegal, there is no problem, once again, if its illegal in your country, you know, so don't buy it. end of story.

 

Cannabis seeds are legal in a lot of countries, such as the USA, England and even Sweden. (yay we're a producing country now ^_^)

Seeds are available from a lot of internet stores etc so I think it should be allowed to sell them but it's up to the admins to decide I guess.

 

Sythe has given his opinion on the matter, and Cannabis seeds are allowed to be traded on the site, provided that it is legal for the buyer and seller according to their laws.

I'm not sure how, but maybe you guys should work on making it so that Everyone who sells in the IRL market has to know these rules, as stickies are always not read.
