I tried Salvia for the first time

Sooooo, I bought a gram of Salvia 5x for € 12,50 today at the coffeeshop (apperently they also have herbal XTC, aphrodisiacs, etc). The stuff itself smells like fishfood, it looks a bit like fishfood, but green and the taste is pretty bad. I also bought a pipe*.

So I decided to split the Salvia up in hits of 0.25 gram, but we ended up smoking 0.75 and I accidently threw 0.25 on the ground.

The problem was, that it was hard to hold in the smoke, because I ended up coughing everything out (you have to hold it for 20-30 seconds).
Eventually, I started laughing like crazy, it also felt a bit like weed/alcohol. My thoughts were pretty strange but I had no real hallucinations.

Maybe it's me, but when I try drugs for the first time, they don't/hardly work, the same was with weed (didn't feel anything the first sticky, next one did the trick), DXM (wrong dosage with too much time in between) and now Salvia.

Dude, the first rule about smoking Salvia is you gotta smoke it out of a bong.

The smoke is hotter than weed or cigarette smoke and therefore harder to hold in. (Bongs cool it down along with filtering out harsh solids in the smoke.)

Also, WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU PAY 12.50 EUROS FOR A GRAM?

That's like a bowl of weed, if that. A pretty skimpy bowl. I know salvia is lighter than weed, but damn. If you want to try it again, consider buying it online..

 

A coffeeshop in Holland is something else than one in the US. In the Dutch coffeeshop they don't really sell coffee (some do, if it's a bar-kinda coffeeshop), but they sell mostly weed and hashish.

I really can't tell, my sense time got a bit distorted. I think somewhere between 15-30 minutes. The after-effects held on for 30-60 mins. But the effect was weak, eventough I acted totally different than I would normally do. I was aggetated, I had trouble doing certain things (like filling my pipe with more Salvia, resulting everything falling on the floor and putting on my shoes). I laughed like crazy for no reason at all and my mind made weird connections between things. My friend said I was sweating like crazy but I didn't notice anything.

Yeah, I had to find it out the hard way... I had alot of trouble keeping the smoke in my lungs.

Lol, buying online will only save me 1.50. Salvia is more expensive here because it's not as popular as in the US. And I can get like 4-6 grams from a friend for 20 euros, and I wouldn't call that a skimpy bowl. I've been high for almost 2 days straight and I still have left.

 

You have to hold the smoke in for 20-30 seconds??? I don't believe that, or were you just exaggerating? I'm thinking about trying it just to see what it's like. Does it cost more than weed where you live?

 

No, I'm dead serious, 20-30 seconds for the active chemicals to be absorbed in your lungs.

It says the same on the instruction manual (yes, it even had instructions) that you had to hold it in that long.

Anyway, I'm going to do it again today with another friend. This time I'm gonna take a 10x extract
