Do you think the USA government should use torture methods on terrorists?

Some show on TV... Forgot which channel.... I believe them more than any random article you can find....

 

Bush is not a terrorist... Show me the article about the super top secret spying agency.

Bush protected this country after 9/11 using all means he could. We were being spied on to protect this country.

We went to war with Iraq as we thought they had WMDs.
We captured Saddam and set up a democratic government there.
Talking about killing innocent civilians, Saddam had gassed his own people.

 

I strongly believe they should torture because not only do they torture our American and coalition forces, but they kill them too and put it on the internet for everyone to watch. We should torture and they're lucky enough that we don't send the videos to them.

 

So two wrongs make a right?

 

If you read the entire thread, you would have noticed me saying non violent torture in every single one of my posts.

This made no sense to me.

The only other punishment is prison. And pain before death does suck, but don't put yourself into the situation.

Torture is in no way a good technique for acquiring information as someone may falsify the truth in order to get out of torture as any of you can assume... I mean if you were being tortured and you were asked something you truly didn't know, eventually you would make something up right? Aside from that though I don't think we should outlaw it just realize that it's not a good way to extract information, we could use it more of an example of this is what happens when you mess with us. It's been repeated numerous times. In a situation where a terrorist is confirmed and the information tested. Read the thread next time.

 

It depends what sort of torture your refering to tbh if its torture such as the chinese water torture that would be fine. Nothing worse then that.

 

They should NOT use torture methods on people they think are terrorists. If they have not been convicted then how do I know they are terrorists? I would say no, generally.

If however you are talking about people who are actual terrorists, and not simply suspected of being such, then I would still say no, but more lightly as I don't care quite as much about justice for those perpetrating injustice.

 

They do already, It's nothing new. Deny it or not they do indeed use torture methods. So does every country. America is no "Nice country" we are one of the most brutal evil country's out there. We are the only country to ever use a nuclear bomb on actual people.

Yes, I think it is right. The idiots should not have gotten caught. Do not call them terrorists it is a stupid word. They are soldiers, Find out why they call them terrorists.

The lives of many are not worth increased Government power. If the Government has the power to violate someone for the "greater good" they own you. You do not own yourself, because Big Brother makes the rules, and always knows what's best. Big Brother knows when and how to violate you, but you're not allowed to violate others. You're too stupid to know what's best for you, or any one around you. But don't worry, Big Brother will take care of you. He'll keep you and everyone else nice and safe while fucking you with a giant dildo embroidered with the words "THE GREATER GOOD".

I think he means that because they are willing die, they will do the most extreme things and are most dangerous.

 

It's not an increase. With a reason, there should not be any disagreement. If the person is confirmed, I see no problem. Don't aim to kill anyone and there won't be a problem. Don't blame the government for acting on it. Blame the people for doing it.

 

I voted yes, Terrorists should be tortured if it will stop them killing people.
