I started out as a Granite Mauler, doing Quests to get my Attack up and such. Now I am basing my pure on Ranged. Sometime I am going to get Defence up, but I'm not sure what Ranged level. For Defence experience I am obviously going to be doing Quests.

My Goals
● Get 70 Strength
● Do Monkey Madness
● Get 60 Attack
● Get Defence Sometime (By Quests)
● Get 99 Ranged. Lol

Post what you think and at what Ranged level I should start doing Defence Quests.​

 

Goodluck i suggest 90+ Ranged

 

you should stay 50 attack so when you get 99 range, your attack wont lvl your cb at all. best for range tanks and such. =o

 

if your ginna get defence get something worth it just 42 for void or something dont got like 70 def

Thanks for the advice. Although I may get Defence at a lower Ranged level, I may get Defence at 90 or more lol. I still have not decided!

I still think 60 Attack is worth it because there is a bigger choice in weapons. I am also considering getting 70, possibly 75. But if I stay 1 Defence which I have been thinking about, I was thinking about maxing it out.

I have to disagree with you. Barrows pures are complete ownage; in most situations.

 

Getting 99 range is not that hard just a lot of cash or minless yaking etc. I suggest high 80 - 90. Train strength and attack to be equal 80 - 90 and you will be a sick as account, not just for pvp but for most things in general. Good luck and keep us posted.

 

Hey i am a barrows pure...And I know what you mean, we do get smashed a bit. (99 range 70 defence). I am making my self into a tank nearly 75 defence at dags. Any one at dags come to world 15

90 Range, then Train Defence. However, i'd suggest getting Perhaps 70 attack and strength, and Pking with melee before you definately begin to train Defence, you may find you like it.

- Currently training Ranged to 80 and then Strength to 75. Then; Bounty Worlds :nuts:.

I suggest you stay 1 defence, get 60 attack and 75+ strength. D scim pures win. I guarantee you that after you've got defence, and you're going for 99 range, you'll get bored with 99 range and think, why did I get defence?

I was in almost the same position as you like a year back. I got defence on my account and then didn't have the time for my goals of 99 range and 99 strength. What I'm trying to say is, only get defence if you know you'll have the time for 99 range, and if you're 100% sure that you won't regret it.

 

I'm going to stongly consider thinking hard about this.
