Charged with assualt

Why not?
A kid at my school got into a fight with another kid.. Just a normal fight. No real damage done or anything and the kid who got beaten up got his dad involved, and him and his dad waited on the long street next to school for the kid that beat him up. The kid got the shit kicked out of him and the dad got done for assault or something. Not quite sure, it all got hush hush'd cause the school should of taken more care.

 

because i know the kid wont get his dad and i know his dad wont hurt anyone

 

No offense, but as a 14 year old kid you can't exactly put up a fight against a fully grown man.

 

well if it helps my face got smashed against the wall in 6th grade (making fun of fat kid, fat kid got mad, face=wall). We could have sued but that would have been ridiculous because honestly we would have gotten only a little more then hospital bill (busted blood vessel in eyebrow). And the time it takes to sue plus the other shit, it honestly isn't worth it.

Why is this thread still going on? problem solved, Suspension and in-school suspension. Seems like you just like the attention now.

If you randomly hit him in the face i hope he hits you back, soon.

Even if he did give you shit, did he ever hit you? or push you around? if he just said words then you're a bitch for succumbing to that and hitting him.

 

doubt they will press charges when it was during school they probably just saying this to make you think SHIT!

About a month ago me and my friends all like make fun of each other joke around n shit.. Well apparently this one joke i said the kid took to seriously so he goes "Dude shut the fuck up or ima hit you" i thought he was joking around so i was like "You're not goin to hit me shut up". He gets up punches me right in the jaw and is yelling in my face "IM NOT GOIN TO DO ANYTHING HUH!?" So im up and then i realize i deserved it sort of so i sat down started laughing and then talking to the other kids at my table. Now, this kid gets sent to the principle and they call me down to ask my side of the story.
I'm not a bitch so i just said i was joking around and he got mad so he hit me but i deserved it.
All they did was give him 3 days suspension. He comes over to my house after school and goes "Dude thanks for not getting me in deep shit and all im real sorry."
Now we are friends again and shit but point is if you get into a fight at age 14 or whatever you are, just dont be a bitch and get them in more trouble or they WILL press charges/sue you.

 

You probably will face 3-4 weeks in juvie, and have a criminal record.

 

As far as I know, fighting isn't illegal. But remember, if he doesn't hit you back, its not a fight, its assualt.

You should get a week of OSS. Or worse, Idc. Hitting someone for talking shit is not the only way. He didn't touch you for a reason. Because he's joking around. Not serious about it.

You'd have a juvenile record, that'd probably be cleared when you're 18. Even if you get charges filed, max you'll get is probation and a juvenile record.

 

This is stupid imo, considering at my school if you break a kids nose you just get suspended for a couple days nothing too serious unless you keep breaking school rules.

 

You'll most likely get yelled at and get handed community service.

Goodluck with this man, someone at my school was gunna be charged with assault, the guy that was gunna charge him woulda been pretty shitfaced after, and woulda had to charge another 30+ people with assault lol..
