what is the easiest skill cape to get?

Defence, all you do is click and you can do soulwars.
ive gotten 99 def on my main within 3 months first 99 :]

Firemaking: Maples: 94 hours, 3.5m
Firemaking: Yews: 64 hours, 24m

If you have a lot of money:
Members: Herblore: Yes Herblore is easy if you have like 100+ Mill. It will literally take you no more than 3 days without much effort. The only catch is that it is mad expensive.

Non-Members: Prayer/Firemaking: Not so hard, just keep clicking over and over. Shouldn't take long with the right logs/bones.

If you are not so wealthy:

Members: Fletching: Fletching doesn't require a lot of brain power or effort. It won't cost you a fortune but will put a hole in your wallet (or inventory).

Non-members: Cooking: It may seem like a lot of GP but it really isn't. You only loose a little from cooking the food. Again, not a lot of effort but somewhat expensive.

 

Cooking if you have the money but honestly just do fishing like and
its free to get 99 and all you have to do is powerfish at barb outpost

 

cooking, mining is great cash if you auto it

You can make money with cooking by using trouts and selling them back at a profit of 2gp.

 

Let me put it this way, it may not be the fastest cape ever, but if you do it right you can make a lot of cash. Just fish, depending on what your fishing you can click and sit for like 3-4 minutes without doing anything, it is very easy to multitask, and you can make upwards of 40mil in about 3 months while you get 99. Of course all the cash making methods are members you can still do some powerfishing/banking at the barbarian village with a relatively fast rate.

If you want ultimate speed then just go for thieving. It is a pointless 99 might I add but it is one of the fastest skills to 99 with almost no cost whatsoever. Spend like 200k on trout, make sure you finish Contact! and then you'll be set for pyramid plunder. As long as you stick with it 99 could take as little as 2 weeks if you no life it a lot, I mean a lot, or it could take around a month at like 3-4 hours a day. Cooking trout till 99 would take forever mate.

 

Cooking is really fast but you lose lots of money... fletching I think would be a good choice if you want speed and at the same time not lose money =/

 

thieving is reall good xp and a sick as cape, try cooking reall easy and try to get members if you can makes your options wider.

 

Fletching you will make a little profit if you buy yew logs and bow strings. Then sell them for net price in the GE. It's a little harder then cooking but still very easy. I'd do that.
