I also cannot connect to the server. Hopefully it will be back online sometime today - just bought some hours too...

 

I have installed windows 7 and the bot seems to have big problems with it. I have emailed customer support about it.

EDIT: I've just set up a server monitering system, to instantly notify my webhost if the site goes down, it doesn't happen often, but this will reduce downtime in the future. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Wait until RID comes back on. have you botted before? with other programs?

 

If you read guideline 5, it makes clear using other bots will bring their own risks. I know you've been using NeXus where bans are commonplace. But you might be able to get decent appeal advice from NeXus.

The only RID advice for appeals is guideline 6: if you get banned don't announce it until after your appeal. You've already broken that, but in this case it's almost certain your ban wasn't from RID while you've been using NeXus, so I wouldn't worry about that announcement affecting your appeal.

To this day nobody who stuck to our guidelines has ever received even a temp ban, so it really is worth reading, everyone should be following guidelines! Thanks

I know when you see so many people say a bot owns etc you can get sucked in, but if they don't have an account like mine, then it's not an undetectable bot.

 

I have never used nexus playing on this. account was done by hand and then this. I was in mta right before ban...... Never had nexus on this laptop

Never used nexus. I just recovered the account after a year 5 days ago. Used MTA for 3/4 days and haven't botted at all today and got banned. Never any other bots on this account. i was banned using this program.

 

He already said he knows you have used neXus... why are you trying to discourage other people from using this bot when it's probable there are other reasons you got banned?

 

RID is like our Mother...you can't lie to him and he knows all.

 

I saw in your post history you were using a hunter script for NeXus... It's there for anyone to see (Jagex can use this technique to get information about you too, as warned in the guidelines).

You should contact support, and give your RID username etc if you think you were banned using RID. It's possible, you can certainly be banned if you break our guidelines, and you have, (not just by using other bots, and announcing you were banned before your appeal, you've also inadvisably given details of RS accounts and achievements/in-game activity). There is no in-game detection system that can pick up RID. If you followed the guidelines you wouldn't have been banned, to date nobody who followed them ever has.

And RID, what happens when the bot loses connection? Say my character logs out will it re-log me back in and pick up where it left off?

Also, since I leaving Private on what happens if a friend logs on and talks to me?

 

When the bot loses connection with RID, it will try to re-establish asap and pick up where it left off. If RS loses connection, it will log back in and continue. However, if you get strange behaviour from RS due to lag, such as interfaces failing to draw correctly, the bot may get confused and quit.

The bot doesn't respond to pms, because most friends will know you well, it's easy to do small talk with random ppl, but it's hard for the bot to take on someone else's persona so it doesn't attempt to by replying to pms. Just keep an eye on it now and again and reply in person, if you prefer to bot with pvt chat on.
