It's hard to find articles about this item, because of how rare it is. I found a little stub on wikipedia, but sofar this is the most thorough information I have found...

Rarest Account For Sale:


The rarest item in runescape, is not as known by common beleif, the christmas cracker. It is the war ship. War ships were discontinued in early Runescape Classic, you used to get them in the gnome stronghold when it was first created.

Why is it the rarest item in runescape?

Sure, it was only discontinued in 2002. Christmas crackers were discontinued in 2001. But as none of you played back then, you wouldn't know that, people collected hords of crackers and phats on the drop day. Jagex stated you would only be able to get them one day. On the other hand, warships were nontradeable, and were only out for a few days. The biggest factor in adding the the "rareness" of the account was the dupe in 2004 rsc. Kaitnetiks and Dylock found a glitch in the game using the trade system (both characters would receive the item traded), and thousands upon thousands of party hats were duped. I was there, it was madness...there were noobs running around everywhere saying "CRACK ME PLZ!!!" (use a christmas cracker on them). Party hats dropped from 20m average to a few hundred thousand a peice! Warships, could not be traded, therefore could not be duped. Oh and not to mention, it was the only item from rsc that didn't graphically change in the transfer to rs2; meaning it's the only item that looks the same now, as it did since Runescape Classic-Present.


Now, for the proof...



If you take a look at the bank, you will notice that it is full of mostly just junk from The gnome stronghold. I doubt anyone would have collected that "Junk", but this guy did; making it one of, or the, rarist runescape account(s) in existance. Oh and I nearly forgot to meantion, this account is ranked in "Life_Hated"'s clanchat (only level 1 in runescape).

Just on a final note, guys I have dealt with crazy things in my times on Runescape. I traded the 32nd account on runescape, and selling the 223rd, and 1600th (Click for list of first 2000 players to ever play runescape). This is definitly the craziest thing I have ever seen.

Any proof that you actually have the War Ship? Because to me this just looks like a copied topic that I've read before.

 

Seems copy and pasted. Here's why I think it is.

1.

Link is broken. When you click it, it comes up with the exact same address as posted (even with the ... bits). This is a sign of a copy and pasted URL.

2.

There was probably a link where it says click for list, but there's no sign of any link. This is further evidence that the text in the post was copy and pasted because copy and pasting doesn't copy links.

3.

Plus, this user has a vouch saying he raised another user's account from 63-75 fishing. If the seller really was selling/has sold some of the rarest accounts in Runescape, I don't think he would be training accounts for money/vouch/trust.

EDIT: Found the thread which this was copy and pasted off. Everything is exactly the same, including spelling errors and grammar errors.
