just some proof that jagex reads appeals
still cant get over how fucked this shit is, and if i fucking dont get my other accounts back that have serious appeals how pissed im going to be

 

i think they just updates there auto system to look for swear words?

I love reading these appeals they are always hilarious.

 

funny but incredibly unfair that jagex doesn't read appeals.

 

yeah i don't believe they actually read the majority of appeals themselves.

most are automated judging on the offense and the date.

for example if you had an account banned several years ago for something petty like item scamming then they would most likely automatically un-ban it if you appealed.

or if you had an account banned for serious bug abuse (like me ) the appeals are almost always denied.

so yes i believe offense, and when the offense happens plays a huge factor.

I bet the people at jagex just read it, and if it gives em a good laugh they'll pass it on. But if its somthing serious, "like a kid threatening to kill himself if he doesnt get his account back", they'll deny it again for a quick chuckle

and i got some blackmarks off my account=P

but, tbh, out of like 9 appeals only 1 successful one

 

That's complete bullshit. That actually just shouldn't be allowed. So according to that i could just type "." into my appeal and it may get accepted?

They've often said that, regardless of what is written in the appeal, if the ban/mute was given in error, they would remove it. The appeal only helps to "reaffirm" your case. It doesn't serve any other purpose.

Jagex isn't necessarily consistent when it comes to appeals. Sometimes, when it's a good appeal, they still deny. Sometimes, when you curse at them, they appeal. Sometimes, when you say Fuck You up the Asshole, they say "Your application is denied. My butthole is fine thank you."

 

Keep in mind, everyone, the age of that photograph. A lot has changed with Jagex since September of 08.

 

Lol maybe they do read appeals... but then again it might probably be their new systems picking up swear words
