How do i only buy 1 month of membership?

I was just about to buy a 1 month membership with a gift card that is a debit card that i have no use for really. I went to buy it and it said that i can only buy it monthly recurring. I know that means i get it for 1 month and then i have to cancel it, but i don't want to do that because i will most likely forget and waste my money on it.

is there anyway that i can just make it 1 month, cus i dont even know if im going to play this game for that long and i dont want to have to pay for something that i may not be playing in a little bit.
