Near Death Experience

I've been seeing threads like this pop up around forums, so decided to start one on sythe.


A part of living life is being able to look back upon the past and laugh, so don't get offended by this.


Post a near death experience you've had or have heard of.
Comedy appreciated.

After i hear a few i'll post some of my own.

 

Well mine isn't fake, but my hand got stuck in an elevator. It pulled half my hands skin off. Had I not been smart and pushed stop, I'd be typing with one hand.

 

I've fallen off a two story building and cracked my skull open. I broke my fall by landing on a tree, and then slamming on the ground.

 

When I was young, doctors failed to recognise I had pneumonia.
Sent me home, a few hours later my left lung collapsed.

Closest ive been to death.

 

I have been hit by a car and suffered a severe concussion and actually did die for about 2 mins...Thats like as clsoe as anyone could ever get...

i fell over, it a wall, and was .5 of cm away from my temple, if it had of hit my temple, i would be dead. afterwards i had a lump the size of a golfball for a day.

 

I know this doesnt sound like much, but when i was a little kid "around 6-7" i fell and my left eye came less than a cenimeter from being stabbed out because i landed on the side of a hardwood desk, i got a scar above that eye still today

 

I was swimming in the ocean and I know it sounds like movies but my leg got caught in seeweed, I was under water for a minute and 45 seconds before my friend got me.

 

cut wrists.

 

I was flying my kite when i was 5 on a wall bank type of thing, well anyway the kite was so cool i couldnt take my eyes off it.. so i was running on this embankment and i was staring at the kite, and i ran off the edge

i fell on a tap, cut open my eye brow 1.2cm away from eyeball, slipped on a pull cart thing that you used to play with when u were kids to carry stuff and tag it along, and hit the back of my head on a concrete gutter with propulsion force from the wheels on the fucking cart, anyway, i was out lolz.. got rushed to hospital had 9 stitches in my eye, i woke up when they were putting the fucking stitches in, and i remember screaming -.- and everythin being really really blurry

Oh well, thats my story.. my eyebrow has healed since then but i went to school after those holidays with this big patch on my eye, first day of school in year one.. i was so embarrased, i got a picture somewhere i think

 

mine was when i got stabbed with a 8inche carving knife threw my thigh i died for 4 minutes when i was 14

 

Well on the way home from school i have to cross quite a busy road. I pressed the button to make the lights change and a car stopped at the lights so i thought ok they have changed to red lights without actually looking. Start to walk across the road get almost across then 2 cars coming speeding down the road and they both went past me and i was stuck in the middle of the road.

 

i almost wanted to jump down the ski slope to find my dad because i had thought he had accidentally fall down. i remembered i was 11 that time, and me and my dad went down this side slope, no ski patrol would ski there ( maybe only when it's closing time ) , and it's very bumpy. i went first, then i waited for like 5mins because i couldn't feel my dad anymore. i shouted his name and shouted, i cried, i thought he had fallen down the little slope =(

i so wanted to jump and save him but was scared and after about 7mins he came down and told me he was stuck in the snow lOl

 

Me and my friend were walking around a bend on the road, it was raining, and a car came flying around, hit the rail, flipped over it and landed on the sidewalk upside down. had we left my house about 30 seconds earlier, we would have been under that car.

This happened to my mom and a truck.. except 2 minutes earlier, if my mom had been like 2 minutes earlier to leave the house, she wouldnt be here rite now

wow im lucky the closest iv been when i cut my circulation off (not on purpose) and i passed out but luckily when i fell i hit my head hard enuf i woke up and i didnt no where i was. and once at the beach i got stuck in an undertoe for awhile...

 

What a waste.


My brother lit my bed on fire and almost burnt the house down. I wasn't in too much danger, but could have lost the house.

 

I never had one, but I want to try DMT which will definetely give you one.

 

Same here, and to be honest some of these sound fake.
