Yes it did use 5 hours.. It was trying to log in when I came, and it paused when I moved my mouse.

And, thanks for the update to graveyard :E

Like I said, that's impossible drunken.
The functions that deduct credit will only run when you are making progress in the minigame, not during logins (you don't even get charged for walking in between games), there is even a failsafe that makes it impossible for any function that charges credit to be called when you're not logged in! So even confusion can't lead to lost credit, nothing can. It's not a matter for debate, it's impossible, if you think otherwise you've made a mistake. You've gone from saying 7 hours, to 5 hours, I think if you kept track better how much credit you have, you wouldn't have gotten this impression. You can see how much credit you've used today, and this week, in the My Robot section.

I agree your bot may have made a number of attempts to log in over that time, and paused when you took control of the mouse which can give the impression it's been using credit, but if like you say you were getting an error at login "couldn't connect to login server" error, and your bot spent it's time sitting at the login screen, then you won't have used up any credit for that.

First time I've heard of RuneScape giving that error too btw, "Error connecting to server" is the standard message if your connection went down (plus you wouldn't have been able to connect to the bot if you were offline), so maybe there was a problem on Jagex's servers last night.

Np, should have really updated graveyard sooner, but was busy creating the new bot.

Speaking of the My Robot section, the new look is pretty sweet, I like the girl :p But what I find odd is that I can bot approximately 6 hours in one day but it says I botted 3 hours one day and 3 the day before. I know it's the time difference but seeing as your only supposed to bot around 5 hours a day if I recall, does that mean Jagex can only see us being online for 3 hours a day and not constant or can they tell if you've played for longer even though the days changed?

The smart way would be for Jagex to simply keep records of when you log in and when you log out. From that information functions could be run to calculate how many hours you've been online in the past 24 hours, the percentage of time you spend logged in compared to log out, or any detail of time spent online whatsoever. Whereas for the RID my robot section, at midnight GMT the record of hours used switches over to the next day, it's a simpler system but no overheads and the my robot section is only there to give a rough idea and help people keep track of how much is used each day so I didn't think a more complicated system is necessary. Assuming Jagex moniter time spent online the smart way, if you perform a 16 hour session that crosses over two days, they would be aware of it (if they check) even if the my robot section recorded it as two days of 8 hours.

All the same, Jagex haven't given a ban to anyone using the bot over 16 hours a day in a long time, they used to give half blackmarks for excessive use back in V2/3 and using this much is against the guidelines, but nobody's been punished for breaking this guideline with V4. It could happen though, so I still recommend limiting use below 8 hours a day.

Lol thanks, yeah I thought the last My Robot section was a bit bland, and I wanted to make sure Jagex didn't file a copyright claim, so I stayed away from RS pictures, and picked a girl who is probably a little out of their league. :p

Erm.. that quote in your signature has absolutely no relevancy to your bot. Andrew said it here http://www.runescape.com/p=kKmok3kJ...5--vZUbNA/kbase/viewarticle.ws?article_id=567 about macroing in general.

Another note, this bot had been running for over 8 hours, I come back and what is it doing? Running into a wall and alching nothing. I even tried High Quality, Low Quality, etc. etc. and this computer has 0 lag because it is a brand new Sony Vaio. Thanks a lot for ripping me off.

ofcourse it has relevance to his bot....
RID's is saying that his bot is undetectable, and that andrew has lost the war, which he implied in his quote that that time can come. it is already here...

the bot is working perfectly fine for me, so maybe it actually is your comp. ever thought about that?.

I wouldn't follow the link because jagex could see you've been refered from the Sythe RID thread. He may even work for Jagex lol. But yes I know, that article is where I got the quote from, if you want to see it look it up in the knowledge base rather than following the link. RID is a bot, which has proven undetectable in the past more than 6 months it's been online. MT4 is also by far the most heavily undetectable program Jagex have ever faced, by a long way. People have been using this bot day in day out, for months without any bans. Maybe you can't see the relevence to the quote, but cunt, you can't even set the correct RuneScape settings. No offense but they are on the support page at www.robotzindisguise.com ?! and it's not that hard to set up... just put RuneScape to low-detail, ground decoration: off, ground textures: few

Rofl I thought you just called that guy a Cunt, I was like RID is a badass now, pornstar on the website, saying shit load earlier now calling people cunts ;)

BTW RID while your on, you remember how jagex used to issue UID's(Unique ID's)? That saved on your hard drive, do they still do this? And would buying a new computer and changing my IP give any advantages over just changing my IP?

BlackSmith bot is OK, just ok id have to say though sorry RID, making cballs has to be the slowest exp ive ever seen, and the profit really isnt worth it, you could get the exp so much faster manually just making steel helms...

    GF Jagex! :D

Wow dude, RID really ripped you off huh? Because that's why everyone is still using the bot because it doesn't work and we like spending our money on hours for nothing. Yep, definitely that is what we like doing. Here is what you should do, come back to this thread, MAYBE ask nicely for some Technical help and then you may get some.

But son, if you come into this thread like that, I'll be straight up. No one will want to help you and frankly I doubt RID would either. So take the stick out of your ass and go read the FAQ section on the website.

For the bot 2 work on vista, u need 2 turn transparent Windows off, then set your theme to " classic ". Aswell as the Runescape Graphic options listed on RID's website.

The pics are from Dec 2008, back then, with run on the bar was full gold no matter what percentage was left, as you can see in the screenshot. Research it. Here's the other pic taken at the time... Why would I edit run energy?!

Vic - I know you can only use the smithing bot in Al-Kharid, that's a shame because it's 10-20% faster XP and gold in Neitiznot. It makes approx 100k gold an hour with steel bars/cannonballs but yeah the downside is that's only 13k XP an hour (1000 hours to 99, but 100M profit, and that's while afk). You can opt for faster xp in exchange for a smaller profit with mith->rune bars, and around 55k XP an hour at a cash loss with gold bars.

Thanks Ploiz, yes there are instructions in the support section at www.robotzindisguise.com for Vista users.

sex° - Idk, Jagex save preferences on your hard-drive but I doubt they'd use that to track people, though it's possible. It's called "jagex_runescape_preferences.dat" that's the only file I know of that Jagex install on your computer, just delete it if you're worried.
