Mrs. California: Really?

I'm sure you've heard about Mrs. California's "controversial" view on gay marriage.

Really? She's getting shit from everybody, getting called a "bigot," and having her photos spread around like a fucking wildfire. She's entitled to her opinion without being prosecuted for it! This is an example of the liberal media taking things WAY, WAY, WAY too far..

Well, misguided as her opinions might be, there's no need to be ridiculed like that. I admit I like that she didn't tap out and lie. I'm sure she knew that she would get some type of negative feedback by saying it.

 

I don't know, but it doesn't matter. They are attacking her because she said she didn't support it.

 

She's only getting a lot of heat because she sounded stupid. The governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger, opposes gay marriage but at least he doesn't sound like an idiot when stating his position.

"We live in a land where you can choose between opposite marriage..."

 

If i'm not mistaken, which im not too sure right now, i believe earlier in the year she said that she supported it, which would be used to just get votes. If she changed her mind halfway through it, after she won, then that is a big deal.

 

I fail to see how she sounds stupid saying it. It's her opinion and she stated it plainly and clearly.

Regardless of what the outcome of the competition is, she is being ridiculed for her OPINION not the fact that she lied (if that's the case).

Huh? I thought she was going to lose the crown due to erotic photos of her that have surfaced.

The way she uses 'opposite marriage' illustrates just how much research she has done on the topic, and to be frank, sounds funny. Instead of walking in circles (like usual) Ms. California had to use her brain, and all she came up with was pro opposite marriage.

 

No one would care if she wasn't Miss. California, so why should we care if she is? It's stupid, another news report just to make a news report; obviously she's entitled to her own opinion. Why the hell else would the question be asked? Were they expecting every contestant to support gay marriage or something?

 

People are overreacting becase she's famous. Only reason. People who bash her, needs to shut the fuck up, and go do a civil union. Stop pushing marriage because that is mainly thought as religion. Stop crying because religious people don't believe in what you are doing. And do your own thing. Goddamn. It's not a big deal anyway.

I don't agree with her, but she's certainly entitled to her opinion, and it wasn't as if she was being particularly rude.

 

Exactly, she said it with all sincerity, even though she said "opposite marriage." Sure, that was kind of stupid, but it's not like she was being a bitch about it or anything.

She derserves her own opinion even thou I dont share the same opinion as here people should stop Fucking going on media frenzies on her opinion (is it just because she's semi-famous for winning a pagent they are making a big deal over her opinion or is it just because they need something to rant about)
