Is it still possible to create a 3 letter name?

Just wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to create a 3 letter name account (e.g. Ahb, A_B)?

It's a fact, there hasn't been a 3 letter made since about... 07?
I'm not exact on the year, but you can't make them anymore,

Because for two years people have been trying to make a three letter account, have you seen anyone make new ones?

 

no, because i don't sit there watching people make accounts or talk to people about what runescape accounts theyve been making lately..

I think its still possible, but the names would be dumb..like f8w or gjf or 665, ect..you get the point..but the good names like Bum, God, ect are obviously taken

 

Try it by yourself and you'll see if there's still some available.

 

rofl, they made programs that auto generate names with any character you want PLUS they register it if its available.

yes it's obviously possible. do the math, there are 10 diffrent number possiblitys, and 26 letters, it's a huge variable, and you CAN get one, won't be easy, but still pissble. just try as many variblaes as possible.

 

with just letters, the limit is low, but with the addition of numbers, theres a whole different story. even with numbers, there is a huge possibility that they are all taken.

 

Try a 4 letter name, 3 is gone.

 

there are exactly 47,952 possible 3 character names.
26 letters in the alphabet, 10 digits, middle character allows for a space.

therefore it is as follows:
(26+10) x (26+10+1 (for space)) x (26+10)
36x37x36 = 47,952 possible names.

now judging by the amount of people who play/have previously played, and by how many accounts the average user owns.. yeah. i THINK they're all taken

Jagex stopped allowing under 5 letter names several years ago. I can't remember the exact date, but I remember trying to make a new account and there was a restriction.

I am saying that. Go ahead, try it. For years it said that your account name had to be between 5-12 characters. I even talked to a Jagex staff member about it through the old support link.
