Do you use your phone for a phone?

After getting a Blackberry Storm in February, I really don't believe I actually use the phone anymore. In and all, I used 64 minutes last month mainly for Grandparents and friends without cell phones, and about 5000 Txt, and a crap load of data usage for applications, Live Messenger, and the internet(YOUTUBE!).

What kind of phone do you own? Are you subscribed to an unlimited Data and Txt plan?

And what do you use your phone the most for?

 

I have a Sony Ericsson k800i. I only use it for music and calling/texting friends. It's on a pay-as-you-go plan/.

 

I have a Samsung G600, i use it for texting / calling friends & family, oh and the camera of course (5 mp)

 

Hmm I'm kind of like you, I do use my phone as a phone, but I text with it alot more.

 

I have Palm Treo 750v, i mainly use it for music. Or texting

 

I do a lot of texting. I have porn on it too for when I don't have access to the internet.

 

LG VX8300. i dont text that much, probably cuz it only has number buttons and theres 4 letters on each button so id have to press a lot of buttons to get a short message. but when its a short message i usually text but for anything else i just call the damn person lol.

i never call, unlimited texting plan gets me to around 2000 texts a day, srsly

 

I have a Pantech Matrix, I call people maybe once a week, and text 500+ messages a day (used to be 2,000+ a day before I got a new number).

Current usage up to this day (last bill cycle: May 1st)

142 anytime
118 night and weekend
41 mobile to mobile
and 2119 texts

Kinda ridiculous for 7 days >.<

 

I have a 3g iPhone and I barely make calls on it. I mostly text, listen to music, and play games on it.

 

I have a Nokia . i use it to txt only

 

I used to have one of those! Epic win.
I now have an iPhone 3G and yes, I do use the phone.

 

I use phones to call people. Not that I call people often, but when I need somebody I can call him. And ofcourse the mp3 player and camera are very important, I don't really care about the other things.

 

I use my phone to call people when I need to, maybe 0-10 texts a day and I use it for music. That's all. ^_^

I'm on a plan but i don't like it, still have like 8 months left before my plan is finished though.

 

I only call people if i have to. Like my grandparents.

I hate talking to people. Therefore I text, it's quick, it's simple and I don't have to make an attempt to hold a conversation (tbh I really couldn't care less what people do). But I don't have any other capabilities on my phone since it's some shitty Nokia from like 04', I'm thinking about buying a Blackberry bold in June-ish.
