Did a few races, my average WPM is 83.

Average up to 88. I keep getting worse accuracy because when I type in a frenzy I can't type as accurately, so I hit a comma and fuck up my 115 WPM record. Highest race I've had was at 130, though.

usually around 100, rarely get under 80 unless I make a huge typo. Used to know a really good test, a lot of these you can just copy and paste.

Reasoning is I type for a living, so I have to be good at it .. Practice I guess.

Are you sure that one is accurate though? All of the different typing speed tests have different results >_>.

 

Words per minute is calculated by how many characters you type in a minute then divided by 5, for 5 letter words. If a typing test is, say, 500 characters, and I finish it in a minute, that's 100 WPM. The speed displayed as you go isn't the most accurate, but the final average is.
