    Need help with skating..

I have a problem.. I skate goofy but I'm a righty so I can't do any tricks unless I do something with a nollie.

I can't skate regular for shit, I tried so many times.

    Any tips?

Dude I'm goofy and right handed also. I bat lefty and golf lefty but I do everything else right handed.

It's the exact same, don't use it as an excuse that you can't skate. If you go at it long enough your body will adjust. (And it would have to do it regardless of weather you're goofy or regular)

You have to practice...you obviously can't with your right foot either so stop being bitchy and keep trying. If you keep this attitude up you won't get far at all.

That's what i thought when i started skating cause I have the same problem, but just practice you can't blame it on that. Btw It's easier since you're doing the flip with your right foot...

Why are you trying to switch from goofy to regular? There are a bunch of great skaters who are goofy.

    Fuck off.

    Your a faggit.

To the OP (Original Poster), Practice, Practice, MORE PRACTICE.

It took me 4 years to get where I am now in skateboarding, And I'm still not even close to good (Best trick is a tre-flip).

Switch between goofy and regular and see which you can adapt to easier. I ride regular, but I have many friends that ride goofy. Just find whats most comfortable.

And last but not least, more practice. Practice until you bleed. This is how you can progress.

Find which stance your more comfortable in and just practice, You can't just get a board and expect to be upto pro standard it just doesn't work like that.

You only get out as much as you put in.

Practice alone didn't help me. I practiced kickflips for a year and didn't even get close until one of my friends showed me how to do it, and I finally got it that day. But after you get kicks and shuvs down, everything else will come easier, until you get to tres, i skated until I passed out every day until I finally got them XD
