Fight caves are dumb

it's so dumb im there fighting jad i have my sound on and im keeping an eye on him i know all his little move things.

anyways he does the move that shows mage. so i flip on protect from mage...

then.. boom 64 damage im dead.

i had protect from mage on when he did mage. i clearly saw it was a mage attack and i did switched pray as fast as possible.

im extremely mad right about this point. The account wasn't even mine i could careless if the account has a firecape. the fact the i died even tho i was protecting the right spell pisses me off.

 

Gotta be quicker

Lol, i got to wave 63 last night, he god a crap spawn behind a rock, tried to lure him out but somehow he used an attack over the rock across the cave to me, i had mage protect on but i got 1 hit because i couldnt see him using range.. kinda annoying -.-

nah it was for a friend he cant do it and he knows how to get to jad now after i did it at his house but he usually dies when fighting jad so yea. he just got to jad and let me fight jad

 

It's just one of those things that happens that really gets under your skin. It's a bitch. You'll get over it.

 

Lol, I did it on my first try, Read 3 guides, tryd it and bam, firecape

 

Jad is the easiest part of the caves as with small techniques you won't get hit at all, while the rest of the caves with the 180 or 90 along with the 360 can actually damage you.

Only problem is that since the prayer update you have to click the prayer button much quicker for the effect of the prayer to activate. Before the update, I'd be talking on MSN or checking emails while on Jad, but now you have to be watching carefully because as soon as he does his motion or sound to signify his next attack, you have to change your prayer. If you waited half a second too long or clicked the wrong pray and went back, you will still get hit.

 

This was similar to what happened to me during the first time I attempted the caves :/, I THOUGHT he used a mage attack .. but really, it was just his flinch/block or w/e you wanna call it .. it looked like he was about to unleash a mage attack, but then boom, 60, I get hit by range, I manage to brew up but end up panicking and dying -.-, don't worry you'll get it eventually :s.

 

Why would you use pray....save that for BH, just go up and 4 shot dds jad, if he hits you all you have to do is safe.

 

Ive died like 10 times at jad without getting any firecapes, I dont even cry anymore

 

same sht happendt to me.. ur to slow and jagex r to fast.

 

lol damn that sucks... i just watch him, easier that way then listening. at least to me its much easier to just watch him. the hardest part for me is when he spawns lol i got lucky cause a few times he used mage when he spawned and i couldnt see what attack he was using since it was also a bad spawn spot, but all the hits were 30 or less.


i'm 6/8 on fire capes, 1 on my char and other 5 were on other friends chars. i died my first time attempting cause i didnt really know how to see his attacks coming, this was before the makeover and died another time due to lag
