Need help running windows 98. ;x

Alright, so I just got a new(well old hospital o.o) computer.
My sister used it for a bit so it has an unexpired windows XP home edition installed on it(I can't activate it as it's activated on my familys comp(one im on)
I need to install windows 98(only disk I have >.>) but I do not know how to open up the setup.
I've been sitting here for about 30mins trying to find out how to get into the set up. Any help?

 

If its just like any other OS then hitting f12 when you first start your computer should lead you to a screen to run from disk.

I haven't used windows 98 in ages, so i have no idea.

 

If Xp is already installed why change you just cant update i never do

 

Install an OS that's up to date, will run fine on your old PC, and is free of charge.

I can't sue XP, as I cannot activate it and the 30days expired awhile ago.

Nullware, I can't log on AT all, it says I need to activate ^^

TJ, that just bought me to a screen saying Run Windows Normally, Safe modes & use your last configuration, x.x.

 

Why the fuck would you try to run 98 on a computer with XP? It's such a simple easy process to find a working activation crack.

 

well if you can help me with that.

 

i don't think it'll let you 'upgrade' to 98 from XP you will have to do a clean install.
