Price check on MY computer...

I'm going to buy an HP Touchsmart, so I formatted my Hard drive, reinstalled Windows XP Home edition, and there we have it.

The parts:

Intel Pentium 4 @ 2.8Ghz

ATI Radeon HD 4670 with 1024MB (1GB) of GDDR5 Graphics memory

Apparently 3.5GB of DDR3 RAM

Seagate Barracuda 160GB Hard drive

Windows XP Home Edition (activated)

Comes with partially working sidewinder keyboard, probably worth around 40 bucks, and mouse, worth around 60

Also comes with 22" monitor with DVI Inputs and DVI cable for the graphics card.

 

Hmm...I'd sell it for 300 tops

It's pretty worthless compared to the technological advances in the past couple years.

 

You'd be lucky to get $200 let alone $300.

 

The hard drive is too small for a normal computer, I'd say no more than $200 - $250 Dollars.

 

160gb is plenty for a computer. You can get a computer like one you just explained for about $350 on ebay. Depends on the condition of the computer though, check your local computer retailer for a more accurate price.

hp computers are worthless. I've got one myself and could have built it for 200$. Few mice are 60$ and I highly doubt yours is if you didn't specify what it is.

I mean no offense, screens are like $150 now, and windows xp.. windows vista is almost out dated, and it's not even a duel core/ quad processor lol

I bought the screen in March for 250 dollars WITH a three year warranty which was an extra twenty, so, uhh, I got ripped off from Circuit City?

By the way, my laptop, a 2009 model, came with a dual-core 1.8GHz processor. It's amazingly hard to find processor with multiple cores as fast as this one. And 3GB is shit? Last I checked, 2GB was enough.

I'm going to add a poll because of you, would you rather me have XP or Vista on it?

And by the way, how is Vista outdated when it's coming on new PCs?

The TouchSmart doesn't fit on my desk, so I'm keeping this thing as a test PC.

And My laptop, is an Hp Hdx 18, 18.4" [1920 x1080] Lcd, 2.5 gig quad processor 4 gig memory, nividia geforce 9800 GT lol
And that's a laptop.. A desktop is suppost to be way more powerful than a laptop.
