How to Capture YouTube Videos.

What you’ll need:
• A YouTube Video.
• VideoGet. (Very good if you wish to download other videos off other sites like CollegeHumor).
• AoA Audio Extractor (only if you wish to rip audio out of the videos. For music).

How to get it:
• VideoGet. This can be found at: http://download.cnet.com/VideoGet/3000-13633_4-10593411.html
• AoA Audio Extractor. This can be found at: http://download.cnet.com/AoA-Audio-Extractor/3000-2170_4-10605079.html

What to do:
1. Download VideoGet and AoA Extractor.



2. Find your YouTube video. (We’ll use “We Didn’t Start the Flame War”. By CollegeHumor).

3. Copy the URL of the YouTube video.

4. Open up VideoGet.



5. Choose the “+” icon.



6. Paste the video URL.



7. Click ok.

8. Click begin download.



9. Let the file download.

10. Open AoA Audio Extractor.



11. Choose add files.



12. Choose the file you downloaded off YouTube.



13. Choose Start.



14. File is now a .MP3 file (simply import into iTunes).

Good guide but you can download the youtube video as a.flv file and convert it which saves a lot of the hassle.

 

Yeah, you can just use KeepVid which requires no download and then just convert it, but I prefer this method. Thanks for the feedback.

That program is way better and more simple.

 

A basic guide to capturing the videos,
I also see the program is a trial version,
I recommend you add a part showing a 'free version' to a video capturing program, such as hypercam, for example.
