I am sick of Paypal. Unless I'm missing something... Paypal loves to help scammers. I'll sell my "intangible goods" and they'll immediately put a hold on the cash, effectively giving the buyer a chance to request his money back. 9 times out of 10, they do.

What do I have to do to ensure that Paypal backs the eff off when I'm trying to sell something?

Just ask him to claim-cancel when he sends you the money. Its the safest possible way .

There's no surefire way to prevent someone from charging back on PayPal. I recommend a more secure trading method, such as WU.

While this isn't sure-fire, this worked to only have 2 chargebacks out of around 1,000+ transactions.

Upgrade your account to Buisness, you upgrade it by adding a bit more information, but its well worth it. Support you get with a buisness account is way better, and they give you a chance to explain what has happend. I run a private server, and out of the attempted chargebacks, i've only had 2 that got charged back, and that was because it was actually fraudulent, in both cases i also had seller protection.

Thats my best advice if you can't use something else.
