Ok clocks: People fill different voids, or gaps in their lives in different ways. Some are assertive, and some are completely in the wrong direction. When you feel down and out; try doing something you enjoy - such as:
You mentioned you are a funny person, right down humour. Or just talk to someone you are close to. Being a funny person is a great qualitiy to have. If everyone had a sense of humour there probably would not be as many problems in this world. When trying to get anything in life, whether it be girls, good marks in school or high achievement in sport; make sure you work at it, but not let it get to your head.

Confidence comes when you realise the qualities you possess are loved by others. Im sure you have many great qualities, just ask your friends.
If you keep a close group of friends and your family just as close - then im sure you will have no problem living a rich happy life.

But here is something to think about. Fear comes in thousands of different ways. You may not realise but when you contemplate a decision because you are scared you may get hurt - then that is also a fear.

I can talk more in detail once you re-word the question for me. Its hard to fully apprehend what you are saying on a forum, rather than real life.

Right next to the quote button there is a smaller one that has a quotation mark with a plus sign. Looks like this: "+ <--- select that for each post you want to quote and then click quote.

Like I said, it wasn't the answer I was looking for but you did give me some support. Thanks for the help, btw Kevin's thread did help me a lot though.

 

I've been having problems with looking at myself in the mirror, and my confidence level is really low. Would this have something to do with an old weight issue I used to have, but fixed it?

It may be many things. It may have been something you did, that you regret doing. Have you been put down at all, by people who are influential in your life? A fixed weight issue, which is now fixed should be something you should feel very proud of. Answer my question and I'll go more in depth with you.
