I recently reported a scammer after he scammed my main on my first ever sythe trade. I posted proof ( A screenshot of PM), unfortunately for me, it takes a single ounce of patience and logical thinking to realise the guy was a scammer. The mod (can't remember who) did one of the most stupidest things I have ever seen on a forum. He asked me a question the locked my thread. And no it wasn't some rheatorical bullshit. It was a genuine question I was willing to answer until I found out they had locked my thread.

That was a rhetorical question. He was commenting on the foolishness of using another website's chatbox to communicate for trades, since it is exceedingly difficult to prove a scam. (Particularly, that trader's connection to a specific Sythe account). He established that the proof you posted was insufficient, and therefore locked the thread.

However, if you have additional proof that was omitted in your first post, you are welcome to create a new report.

 

If you have logs of the chatbox, maybe the mod on the site can give you that IP, and we can compare it with the ones on here?

That's the only way I see anything happening.

First, I was pretty stressed when I made the thread so I kind of overdone it?
Anyways the chatbox was on my website and I do not have MSN and didn't know about Meebo. I'll make a new report when I fend some more evidence. Gotta go through my whole computer with a nitcomb now to find some pics =P
