Survay phone calls...

Something that stresses me soo much are those survay phone calls.​

An example of one that happend to me 5 minutes ago..​

*In an indian accent* ...Hello sir and congradulations you have won a $1000 trip to 3 countries of your choice.

Me: Whats the catch?

*** No sir there is no catch. Are you married, single or have a significant other?

Me: Umm im actually gay and my partner hasnt arrived home from work yet.

*** Ok not a problem? What country are you from?

Me: What do u mean not a problem? Do you have problems with gays, because if you do.... And im from fiji i immigrated to Australia 2 weeks ago.

*** Ok finally what age are you, are you between the age of 18 and 32?...

Me: Umm im actually 33 so .. ye sorry..

*** Ok not a problem at all, ill pass you on to my manager

Me: Uh,, ok ... ^^^I wait.....^^^^

*** Hello sir??

Me: Yes?

*** I see you have fit all the criteria for this all expenses paid trip.

Me: Seems i have but what are you wearing?

*** Umm sorry?

Me: What are you wearing? Is it see through?

*** Excuse me?

Me: Your employee told me this was a phone sex hot line and if i guess what your wearing i get $1000 and a trip to 3 countries of my choice...

*** No he would never say that.

Me: Ask him your self.
(Hears discussion in the background)

*** No sir he has claimed not to say that.

Me: You calling me a liar?

*** No not at all sir!

Me: Do i call you during dinner?

*** No you do not.

Me: So why do u call me during dinner....

I just hang up on them instantly .

If i say anything i usually just say "i'll pass" then hang up.

They ring my house and I just tell them that my olds aren't home hate there fucking voices Gr

 

They called me today at the fucking moment I woke up. Most of the time it's for charity.

"Hi, bla bla bla do I call at a good time?"

"no, I just woke up" >_>

 

The funny thing is they really dont care if they cal you at a good time. I got a call at 12.30 in the morning, He said he was from india making the call... they need to learn the time zone

Wow I hate these motherfuckers so much, I swear at them every time they call if my parents arent home. One time my dad was home and my call actually went like this, the guy was putting words in my mouth. Surrey is where I live btw.

"Hi we're conducting a survey bla bla bla bla are you interested?"

"no thank you, I'm not interested"

"No sir we are not trying to sell anything to you"

"Sorry Im not interested"

"Yes, it is located in surrey"

"stop putting words in my mouth fucking retard" -clicks-

 

Haha at least they are persistant. I just wonder how many idiots actually fall for those phone calls. Its beyond me.

 

Oh i do actually remember that my friend got 2 free mobile phones from actually listening to one of those people hahah.

 

I usually lead them on and act like I'm genuinely interested. And then a few minutes in I just start screaming DADDY..DADDY NO STOP NOT AGAIN and then start screaming, drop the phone, continue yelling, GOD PLEASE HELP ME CALL THE POLICE and then hang up.

 

Just hang up. As soon as you hear it's not someone you know/care about hang up.

Also: you can spell sig-ni-fi-cant but not sur-vey

Whoa that must've scared the shit out of them.

I mostly listen to what they say, then I pretend I'm a horny guy looking for hot gay sex.

Other times I tell them to hold for a while, then I got out and smoke pot or go take a shower or something, and see if they're still on the line. (once someone stayed on the line for 20 mins, I felt so bad)

 

Haha, yeh ive also tried something similar, whereby i pretend im the husband beating my wife as she picks up the phone i start yelling at her.

Freaks the shit out of them.... but they always manage to call back and ask if this is a better time to speak.

 

Lol something really fun is like what Daily had said. Lead them on for awhile, then just say oh I'm not interested. They go what? Then you hang up LOL.

I hang up. As soon as they ask me my name, or how old i am. BYE

 

Haha, when they ask my age i always say one year off, eg are you between the ages of 18 and 81, nah sorry i just turned 82.

 

I usually tell them I'm not interested and close the phone.
