    1. Don't use the computer for a long period of time?
    2. Have her install it, then just disable it?
    3. Have her install it and leave it?

Just disable it, I'm sure it will be easy.

    lol, stop looking at porn!

Okay back to the topic, ask them the reason for not trusting you? If they have a valid reason show them that the sites to you are user-friendly and don't have explicit content. Reasoning over secrecy is how to persuade parents.

Download every virus possible when she installs it so she won't be even able to get to the desktop and will have to reformat the hard drive. Repeat until she stops installing the monitoring device.

If your account is an admin on the computer you will be able to disable it easily. If not, just prove to her you can be trusted on your computer.

What have you done to make her want to do thiso_O Unless your actually doing some bad and hiding it then I wouldn't be worried, it should be easy to disable it and you should be able to convince her not put it.

    That might actually work:huh:

Your parents don't trust you with the internet yet? How old are you may I ask? I remember my parents did this to us when I was like 5 or 6 but they stopped once I got into like the 3rd grade lol.

Anyways, to get your mom to trust you, start reading all about internet safety and tell her all about it and that you are responsible.

Have them install it and watch as much porn as you can. You also probably want to frequent drug sites and sites that promote violence. Also a religion they disprove of (if they aren't open-minded). When they flip out, say don't do things to find answers you don't want. They will promptly disable the software and pretend the situation never happened.

Just say a heap of bullshit.

Say it'll slow down the internet.

That it'll slow down the computer speed.

Stuff like that, if shes like my mum, then she'll be paranoid about the speed. My mum always wants the computer to go faster because shes impatient lol.

If your dad isn't a computer dumbass, it looks like you're in the shitter. Acquire a taste for Christian Rock and learn to twiddle your thumbs.

If you know the exact name of the spy-software, I'd be more than happy to tell you how to disable it.

Install Linux. -- Most guaranteed way to stop the NetNanny installation, considering Linux doesn't have native support for Windows executables in the first place.

If you want to stick with Windows, just disable or remove the application. Problem fixed.
