    Not government paid; that would probably be very expensive. And not everyone would want this anyway. Some would have ethical objections.
    I can see the incentive but until it becomes an common established way of increasing someone's lifespan safely, I doubt that the Government would pay for every old person to be supplemented with growth hormones to keep them living beyond their natural limit. What country are you referring to? US? UK?

    US and Canada mostly, think about it we pay taxes that go towards pensions for retired people instead of pensions give them free HGH. They would make more money then on a pension and would live a enjoyable life. Also if we brought out the scientists, researchers etc out of retirement and all put them to work on a cure for aids/hep a b c we would get a cure faster. Only problems I can see would be HGH is that it is experimental and may not work for everyone and with nobody retiring there would be no jobs for future generations.
