Temporary Ban for Three Warnings? >.> Mistake Made.

Hey there Sythe staff and others,

Yesterday I was temporarily banned for spamming/back seat modding (14 days). The three reports can be found here:

I am aware of the rules, but the integrity of the moderators who chose to infract myself is certainly coming to question on these.

1st Report: Hm, This might've been considered spam. But really I called it prooving a point, I wasn't doing it to get my post count up.

2nd Report: Hm, I was simply commenting the person's account, and giving them my opinion again, It was under no circumstance a little "nice account biibiiz". Didn't know this was not aloud (Comments on account threads that serve to some purpose-Not a lously bump).

3rd Report: I got infracted for 'back seat modding for this one'.

Well, on the rules, this is the rule and I quote for backseatmodding.

"-Backseat Modding (mild): posting things like “lock this thread” - basically acting like a mod"

Now, for STARTERS Backseat Modding isn't even under infraction. It's under warnings, Also I never received a warning. But before I go on even if the moderators disagree with my opinion on these posts, It's beside the fact that if Backseat Modding, should've been just a warning. And I have two other reported posts against myself that counted as an infraction.

That would've meant the build-up would've been: 2 Infractions - 1 Warning.

But anyways, I do not believe my post was back-seat modding. Many users on this forum site do not know what they are doing. If I would've gone back now I might've PMed Syne instead, but nevertheless I was simply offering my opinion and my humble advice to her, not in any way acting like a mod, saying something like 'lock thread' 'ban time' 'ban hammer' etc.

That's right WARNINGS. Not Infractions. So at most even if the moderators think all these reports should've been what they were. I ONLY should've received THREE WARNINGS. Which would've resulted in a buildup of warnings So.. 1 infraction.. 2 at most?

That's all I have to say. If the moderators still feel I should serve the 14 day ban, I will, and I will return.

But it's quite a sight to see the moderators of the forum not even following the Sythe.org rules themselves.

The first warning should really have been for backseat modding. Although there's a fine line between that and spam, your posts are generally decent; so, on a technicality, I'll unban you.

In the future, you can assume that if you're not actually interested in buying the item or service being offered in a market thread, it's spam.

Also, note that 1 more infraction will result in a 2 week ban. The other infractions are justified.
