That's probably what I would do, not out of the goodness of my heart, to score some brownie points with my parents.

Well, I'm your stereotypical Asian kid, I would just go about as normal; infact, my parents have been gone for 5 days before, and my life didn't alter one bit. And what's with all the kids doing drugs nowadays? The only wild thing to do that I would ever vouch for, for an opportunity like this would be to get laid.

DXM is a waste IMO, find some RC's or a good hook up for shrooms, or acid you will have the biggest "awakening" if you do acid and with your parents now alone tripping in your house would be epic.

Nothing is betrayed if nothing goes wrong. Just invite friends you trust. Whenever my friends parents go out of town for a weekend or mine do, I have a small party with like 5 good friends and some girls. If they stay the night it's ok and if I pass out it's ok because I trust them. Having a party with people you don't know is a bad idea. If it gets out of control to a point where you can't get people to leave, you're fucked, your furniture is fucked, your house is fucked, and most likely cops are gonna show up.

People like you have to realize that smoking Marijuana isn't about being hardcore. Nothing hardcore about it, we just enjoy the high you get from this amazing plant. I love the feeling and I don't do it to be cool, I do it to have fun with my friends, and he probably does too.
