Very interesting article, Sadly I didn't start playing until 2006 and never heard of him. A shame he passed away, That's life for you though.

I did get the chance of speaking to him once.
But this thread just reminded me of him.
I didn't know he died and am sad to hear that.

 

That is pretty odd. Are you sure? And was it a JaGeX Mod or a Player Mod?

 

You might be thinking of "The Old Poet" he's a level 42 skiller and he's a mod, seen him around GE a few times, but idk.

 

I was playing when he is and remembered him being up there on the highscores.


However I never got the chance to speak to him, after that article I wish I would have.

The old nite, oh gawd ): he was one of runescapes best players he was the nicest man in the world. Iv seen him before in runescape when i played i said "Hi" and he said back "Hi" ): Rest in Peace<3

 

Yeah, that's cool. Most players like that just ignore you or turn off private/public chat. That's so dumb. T.T

Wow, i read that whole story and i feel so sorry for him, he couldn't really do anything other than play computer. TBH, i used to think everyone on the toplist of any game is a "no-lifer". But now im thinking otherwise. R.I.P.
