    I've Got 4 Xbox's :) Never Got RRoD. The Day i bought 360, i waited 3 days then called xbox and said i had RRoD And I Said I Followed Their Instructions, And NOW It started to smoke up and they sent me Another one. I Kept On doing this now i have 4, like 5 controllers and 2 120gb HDD'S

    I got it once about 2 months before Christmas. Found an old box, took it to UPS with the shipping labels and sent it out. Sent it on a Tuesday got it back on Thursday, 10 days later in perfect condition.

    I'll admit the red lights are a damn nuisance, but the Customer Service was pretty good for me.

    yeah, Apparently the Xbox360 Elite can't get the red lights of death.
    My friend got it once.
    He sent it to this guy in derby [[a city in kansas]] and he fixed it for 20 bucks, quick too.
    didn't take like 4-5 weeks like everyone else does.

    I got the E74 error like 2 weeks ago and my warranty expired and I couldn't fix it in anyway, so I went out and bought an arcade. :p

    I've gotten it, haven't called or anything to fix it for about 3 months, I say fuck it. If you get the Red ring, just buy a Ps3.

    I've only gotten it once. That day was december 25th 2007. I was pissed. Took about 5 months to get fixed but that might be because i forgot to send it in.

    Its happend to me One time I fixed in about 5mins(My power outlet cable got Bent).But if this does happen to anyone Its usally caused from your power outlet cable being unplugged with the xbox being on.You ethernet cable port is broke on your 360 or your Xbox got over-heated badly.

    One time my console just stopped and powered down. I was scared. Then I turned it on and it had RRoD'd. I was like WTF!!!!!! But then I turned it on again and it worked =]

    I have a 2 year warranty anyways =]
