Something that no child should go through

You know, obese kids don't choose to be obese. You're a douchebag for thinking so, Mr Impossible. I guess you don't understand what overweight kids have to go through, in their life. For example, me and my friends were sitting near my locker during Break, and this overweight 7th grader walks by. Thinking this would be a golden opportunity, my friend Matt threw grapes at the kid, saying, "Hey buddy, these are GRAPES. They're actually healthy for you, and they don't taste like cheeseburgers." I had to watch that. I'm not overweight myself, but to sit there, watching my best friend insult that kid, was extremely disrespectful. So do NOT go saying, "Oh the children in Africa are very skinny, but there are alot of kids in the U.S who are obese/overweight." African women are having more and more babies. They know what's going to happen, yet the keep having sex and producing more children. Why the fuck should the U.S. have to help them out? STOP having fucking babies, holy shit.

 

Why should we help anybody?

We can stop some bad things from happening in our own country. Our ability to stop bad things extends outside of our own country though. We are perfectly capable of helping many starving African children. They don't live in a democracy, but we still pocess plenty of ability to help many of them. (And btw, America is very far from being a democracy. At best it's a democratic-republic, like Natzi Germany.)

I don't see why it's relevant that we can't change all of Africa, or even all of the Sudan. We can't change all of America either. We can't get rid of all of anything. That is no reason not to help others though.

 

Well they should stop having kids if they can not afford to feed them.

Edit: Also the most us/we can do is just donate to the charities and let them sort things out.

Charity starts at home. When other countries fix all of their problems, and the African people do what they can, they can expect more help from the world. Until then, they'll continue to experience what they are experiencing.

 

So you would honestly let a child die than sacrifice as little as $2 week? What kind of fucked up, selfish , self centered world do you live in?
