    In need of a vb6 tool

    Ok well my problem is i need to register my windows visual basic thing and i am broke :(. So now i am in need of a vb6 tool or what ever you may call it like that so i can continue making my projects. And please do not come in here and tell me to do vb.net because i wouln :D . So if swan suf or someone could please post me to one thats free i would love them very much ^_^

    Any programmer of sufficient experience will tell you that VB .Net is better and EASIER than VB6, but if you want a free version of VB6, then you are quite limited for choice.

    VB6 was mostly a commercial venture, and while .Net is a commercial venture Microsoft has had the brains for publicity and released a free version. The only way I can figure to get a working copy of Visual Studio 6 is to pirate one, and to post links to such things, or guides on how to do such things go against forum rules.

    I don't think .Net is easier than VB6. I guess I'm not very experienced. :(

    It is. The only thing that confuses people about it is object orientation, and you learn that pretty fast.

    In need of a vb6 tool

    Thank you guys for your posts i guess i will have to pirate one. But i am very interested in learning Vb6 so it will be worth while for me to try and get it thank you guys and if you just so happen to find another vb6 tool please let me know :).

    Just keep in mind that VB6 is outdated and is soon to be discontinued by Microsoft (from what I've read).

    The main reason why people use vb6 is that there is alot of sources to leech
