Pikachu Sig

Note this is my second sig ever. Please C&C and give me tips on how to improve it. I really ran out of ideas and I only have a pokemon sig is because i was entering a SOTW contest in a different forum and pokemon was the theme.

 

Try to match your render with the background. It's called render blending and it's really easy to do. Google for tutorials . Pretty good for your second one, I like the way that you didn't over do it.

 

It was originally neon yellow background but it changed to greyish and I thought it matched the thundershock thing.

 

Nice try, but work on blending, it improves things very much.

Yes, I would like to see the version where the background was yellow.

 

I don't have it with the yellow background anymore. :/

 

Not bad for a second sig. But as everyone else has said try matching the background of the sig to the render a bit more.

Are you using photoshop? If so, Just add a yellow color overlay to the layer of the background, and make the opacity of the color overlay around 30% or less. Just so it gives it a yellow tint.

I take it the "thundershock" thing is attached to the Pikachu render?

 

Yeah, I could try to take it out. It'd take a while though.

 

I was just going to say, if that was a light tint of yellow it would make it look even better.

 

Hmm yeah I was thinking that but I'd have to take it out and make it a separate layer or something. Maybe bad render choice. Also, I had a hard time finding where to put the font and picking what font, so I just did the POKEMON logo. Can you tip me on fonts?

Just search around there for fonts. Great site for free fonts.

 

Yeah, I know but I don't know what type of font looks good with what type of background or something. Many looked weird. :/

 

I always just do trial and error, it's the best method.
