problem overclocking, new phenom 8750 stuck @ 2.8GHz?

I got my 8750 to 2.8ghz using a multiplier of 14 and the fsb at 200mhz with the core voltage at 1.3v

I tried to set the multiplier at 15 but I cant seem to find a voltage that will support it...either it wont boot, or once it does boot I get BSOD and then if it doesnt do that then during benchmarking it will just restart on me. I tried a voltage of 1.35v but I am not sure just how high I should go with that.

My limitation is my motherboard I believe...(asus m2n-e) it isnt that great of an overclocker, plus its not a true am2+ board - I had to flash the bios for it to support my cpu.

Any ideas? opinions?

 

well first off, you shouldn't be pushing the multiplier that high, try to focus on the fsb more.
my e8400 has a 9x multiplier, and i have my fsb at 333. also make sure you take baby steps when increasing your fsb. go from 200 to 210, than to 215, so on. run a stress test in orthos for 12-24 hours if you can and check temps regularly. i suggest core temp for your cpu. try to keep your voltage as low as possible too. i got 3.5ghz 24 hours stable on stock voltage with my e8400, so it can't be hard for your phenom.

 

Look on your motherboard for a clear CMOS button. hit it = fixed.
