i got scammed by some guy who acted like u and i know his real name and email address even tho i filled out a report on i3 the govern. hasn't tracked him down yet

 

How can you file action against someone for intangible goods on a video game when selling anything on there violates the end user agreement?

 

I am going to do the same thing with Ryan, (Ryan Phillips) who scammed me out of £450

O...M...F...G! i cannot BELIEVE i just found this thread. I have personally been scammed by him, for RSGP and not $$$, but i do know alot of info that could lead to his arrest. He lives in Michigan, I know his myspace URL (www.myspace.com/sk8shizzle), before i deleted my myspace i had had several convos on there with him after he would no longer speak to me on AIM or by phone, i have screen shots of myself and him after he had hacked milkman21666. He spoke to me on there on several occasions before he took my stuff. He let me play on milkman21666 several times to slay and i even know the band he used to play drums for. anyways i guess ill explain my story........


I met him when he was playing an account named milkman21666. We talked for a bit in game, and we became good friends. we began to speak on AIM, and soon on the phone.

At the time, i had a bank total of about 450M, most of which i had won from staking. One day on the phone, he offered to let me slay on his account because he had been telling me he was getting like 2 whips per hour and that was how he made all his money. also, he would leave his whip and dds on his account and let me stake on it because milkman21666 has some killer stats. I agreed and soon, he began to inquire about logging on to my account; guilt tripping me by saying "well i let you on mine!". I told him he couldn't have my bank pin though, and he said okay. He goofed around on it, and asked if he could get back on Milkman21666 and have me trade him my green phat and let him wear it. I told him i didn't like the thought of that because i had been scammed several times by people i trusted far too much in game.

One day, i was telling my brother (who i always shared my account with) he new password i had just set on our account. I was on the phone with Trent when i told him, but i thought i had hit the "flash" button and i was on another line. Turns out i didn't and after all was said and done Trent informed me that he had overheard the password. anyway, He didnt know my bank pin so he had to trick me into getting my stuff OUT of the bank.

so one day he calls me on my cell and tells me he wants me to come to the duel arena and take some screenies with him, and i agreed. i go there and he said "dude get all ur good shit out so we can wear our best stuff in the pics" and "hey dude go grab ur mask set and put it in trade, i wanna screenie it." i thought all was fine, so i pretty much got all my best shit out of the bank. He tells me "hey dude, there's this cool glitch some guy just showed me! i'll offer to duel you, then when the duel options screen comes up, log out and log back in and watch what happens when you log back in." i said "okay", and upon trying to log back in, i find that my pass had been changed.

He transfers all of my stuff to a friend of his he later told me lived down the street from him (runescape user anme was "Voltago".) They make off with all my stuff and i call Trent for several days afterward. He never gives my belongings back no matter how hard i begged and pleaded.
For me, this was a major loss because all that i lost was cumulatively everything i had acquired in RS since i started playing in 2002.

One day, he sends me a myspace message that says "Just sold that green phat on sythe. Thnx for $600 USD =)" (keep in mind all of this was back when green phats where 185M, and mills were going for 6-8 bucks each on sythe). So in response, i get on myspace and contact his girlfriend and ask her to please talk some sense into him because i surely hoped she did not approve of his thievery. She pretty much cursed me out saying "Trent told me you made fun of him all the time by calling him a nerd" and i said "well yeah, after he wouln't give my shit back! he fucking stole it!" and i pretty much have given up ever since.

My friends who still play RS still message him in game and apparently Milkman21666 is now owned by the original owner again, and "The Josiah" was an old skiller that Trent had made. He never logs on there anymore, and he has my number blocked and my AIM name blocked, so i have no way of contacting him even to curse him out for the sheer fun of it.

I hate that fucking bastard; i have never been able to return to the wealth i had back then. That was the day runescape pretty much died for me, and as i have said in another post, i hate runescape the way it is now. The rich stay rich, the poor will never be rich, and people like me who were once rich but were scammed will always live with nostalgia for the things they once had. I swear i just want to kill that fucking faggot, i mean GOD!! The guitar i would have if i had sold my 450M..............sigh.

I hope someone seriously busts this cunt. I have some info that can lead to his arrest, i hope i still have his phone number around here somewhere, but i have pics of some convos, pics of his myspace message that admitted he stole my phat, and his myspace URL and AIM name, even previous passes to milkman21666 and The Josiah. 231-499-7212 is cell phone number, Moohenji17 is his AIM name, I am glad and yet angered to see he fucked over more than just me. Seriosuly guys, together we can have this fucker getting manhandled in prison. In my case, he can be legally punished because i was not partaking in any type of violation of runescapes EULA, because he took my account and made a profit from its contents when it is actually property of Jagex. In some peoples cases, when both parties were breaking the EULA, it may be more difficult to present Trent's faults when they are at fault as well, but in my case, i was completely innocent and law abiding and he sold off Jagex's property for profit. That is, by all means, punishable...

 

See what you guys fail to realize, is that I haven't been active on runescape or sythe in about 3-6 months.

I stopped this non sense a long time ago when I was approached by a deputy
about some of my transactions, I have already been to court and had to pay back the people that I wronged. Which was in total of 5600$ roughly.

Making these posts is non-sense, especially LETS PUT HIM IN JAIL Mainly because I or anyone else cannot be incarcerated for on-line fraud for under 25,000$.

And I have done a little research over time, and 3 of people that reported me
have actually found them selves in major legal trouble as they were also
breaking rules of jagex, AKA terms and conditions. If you read up on it, they
have made about 32,000 Arrests because of real world trading.

90% of the posts on this thread are untrue and 100% not re-lated to me.
Only about 6-7 of them are legit.

So I TRENTON THOMAS, Have not been active in runescape or sythe for almost 6 months. Mainly due to the fact that I work about 9 hours a day
And then I spend the rest of the time with my girlfriend and my new daughter.

Runescape is childish and it will ruin your life people, don't fall into the temptation of scamming, trust me its not a good path to go down.
