Just some help please :)

Hey all i have been away from sythe, as well as runescape for about 1 year now. I am intersted to get back into it and buy accounts etc. As i know missing 1 year in anything is alot. So can people fill me in rough edges from what ive missed in gameplay , items, prices in general and updates. All help will not go unrecognised.

Sure I can give you a general update.

First off all i'm not sure if it was here when you left but the main update of runescape alst year has been the grand exchange.
It is a building north of varrock west bank what kinda acts like a stock market and wich makes trading really easy.
The side effect of this is that all prices have dropped thx to the icnreased ease at wich items are traded and it is no longer possible to merchant the old way.

Also bounty hunter wich as you know replaced the wildy has been closed because there was so much RWT in there and it will probably not open in a while.

The best update I think are the PVP worlds.
They are exactly like the normal worlds but they work like the wildy everywhere and you can get real nice drops.

Hope this gives you a general idea of all the updates last year.

O one last thing.
2 new minigames have been released :
Stealing Creation (CS) and Soul Wars (SW).
Stealing Creating gives gr8 rewards for training skills like an pickaxe that gives double exp.

Sould wars is gr8 for training slayer and getting charms and it is pretty much like castle wars but here you have to sly your opponents avatar.

Well, theres a new PVP system update which I like. It's basically old school pking, but with a really rare chance of good drops. You can fight anywhere in Runescape with the exception of a few mini games on PVP worlds only. It's a great aspect to the PVP system, although, old wilderness would be better.

Soul Wars is out. This is another new mini game, which is based on red team and blue team. The job of each team is to kill the other persons avatar. You can weaken the avater by using soul fregmants on the middle obelisk. The level will go down, and whatever the level is the slayer requirement you need to kill the avatar. The teams who's avatar has the most deaths in the end, loses.

For Soul Wars rewards, you get zeal. You can spend it on Experience, items, or random items similar to how Barbarian Assault gambling works. For a loss you get 1 Zeal, tie 2 Zeal, win 3 Zeal.

Thats about all I want to explain.

One qustion doesnt the pvp worlds make it MUCH easier to real world trade?

 

no? The person who dies does not drop everythign he is holding.. If he is risking 1M he might only drop 1gp...
