This is what I have so far,
    System Builder

I'll be using a RTX 3090 GFX Card.

If anyone could get me a few tips I'd be grateful.

1 SSD for Windows, 128GB one.
1 SSD for Games/Softwares, 500GB would be okay.
If storage ends, just get HDD for some extra.

Are you building PC for gaming?

Definitely need more than 500GB for games, considering some games (eg Cold War) is over 100 gb and Warzone is over 200 (I think)

I'd go for a 1TB SSD and a 2TB HDD, other than that the PC will do anything you want for gaming.

    DO NOT BUY THE RAM.

GSKILL is NOT a RAM manufacturer. They are a reseller of generic RAM.

The RAM in this model is manufactured by SK HYNIX. It is the first or second Ddr4 ever to be manufactured for public distribution and its quality is on the lowest end of the SK HYNIX spectrum, of which even their highest tier of RAM is considered low-end in the commercial market.

I advise you select Crucial RAM from the official Crucial website and follow a link to their authorized sellers(or if you purchase it from the Amazon store, Amazon is the corporation's direct outlet).

I also advise you do not purchase this motherboard.

I also advise you avoid ASUS motherboards until further notice. I have assembled 6 ASUS machines this year, of which 3 had defective motherboards which had to be returned.

The motherboard brand I recommend is MSI.

You should also be buying the latest Z490 chipset motherboard option, regardless of brand.
Chipset can be safely substituted, but only with the most recent generation of Intel chipsets. Do not buy X299.

Regarding the CPU and GPU, What do you intend to use this system for exactly?

I think you mistook my question,
I was not asking what you intend to use for this system
I asked what you intend to use this system for.

In practice, RTX 3090 is overkill for most applications, including FEA, Fluid dynamics, and site forensics simulation programs that I work with regularly. In fact it gets outperformed in many of these applications by less expensive cards. The only application for this card I've found it being absolutely necessary for is multiple 4K displays + VR simultaneously.

I've also observed better performance in i7 workstations using registered ECC memory than i9 workstations using unbuffered memory.
In environments where bleeding-edge performance is required, I gravitate from the i7 into the Xeon market and skip the i9 instead.

Regardless, the i9 10920x is not the latest i9. Look for the LGA 1200 socket. The one in your current build doesn't even support the latest chipsets. Look for 400 series.
