I found something!

Not as interesting as the title sounds, but...
ok well last night i was on my laptop and i closed it while i was logged into runescape. This morning i went to get on and i just opened it and i was logged back on... no password or anythign was needed. I'm sure you guys have heard about this before but im just sharing just incase.

 

You still have partial connection to the internet and RuneScape is trying to connect back, when you openned it you recieved full internet and it connected back.

 

so its nothing i can take advantage of?

well it depends it might be abused to raise a kitten wich won't need anymore feeding before it becomes a cat but for the rest i see no way to abuse this.

No, it logs you out and then you're logged back in.

Absolutely no use for this.

 

You could use it for scamming.
Someone logs in, you do what you did and then when they are gone log back in and xfer the cash.

I don't condone or advise doing this.

wtf? tahts bull. not tryna flame you man but that doesnt make sense. if you were to close your laptop you put it into sleep mode unless otherwise configured. if you logged off then you're logged off. you don't ''partially connect'' or anything.

my assumption is that it was a glitch or something.

 

I don't think a majority of the people understand what he's saying.

He is saying he shuts his laptop while he's logged in. He opens it later and he's logged back on. For the whole time the laptop was closed, his account was logged out. Hope that cleared it up for all the people saying Dp and stuff.

 

maybe his touchpach is sketchy and moves ever so slightly keeping him logged in.

Have you ever lagged so bad that you completely stop for atleast ten seconds, then when it starts up again, you get the welcome screen? It's the same thing. RuneScape logs you off so you're in no danger while you're lagging

 

I've done this myself, only good if ur extremely lazy lol.

 

Does it only work for laptops?

 

No....Just shut your desktop monitor.....
