My favorite song by this band is Testify. I don't normally listen to this type of music I actually listen to Metalcore or Hardcore, but the main thing I love about this band is their lyrics and how they sing about politics and go against the government's dumb decisions.

Why would anyone listen to this band? They are just like every other mainstream band that contributes nothing to society. This band needs to be removed due to the mass intelligence drop, mostly because of their music. It's appalling. Any fan that listens to this garbled sewage band obviously has the brain power of a lemming. What a perfect metaphor too. These fans should run out in front of anything with four wheels that is moving.

It's a shame to see you have no taste in music. Too bad that comment was structured so horribly. I guess With that logic, people cut themselves and are depressed emos' for no reason, not because of the message the band gives. It all makes sense now. Go back to high school.

So you're saying the lyrics are all that matters in a song? You're obviously not a music lover if you're so ignorant to think that.

I love it when people bash mainstream music. You're not different because you listen to shit that isn't mainstream, everybody does. There is a reason why mainstream music is popular - because people like it. You're not cool because you listen to non-mainstream, it just means you're kidding yourself by saying you don't like mainstream.

Let people listen to what the want to listen to. People don't bash you for listening to your shitty ass indie shit.

No. Is it just me, or do people on this site just quote randomly and not read what was actually written? You guys feel like a shotgun blast... aim at something and fire without actually knowing what you are talking about.

Stupid quote of the year right here ladies and gents.

    Someone banhammer this illiterate noob.

No you do not, or else you would not respond.

Quote me where I said I did.
    That is what I thought...

You forgot the word "shallow" between "because" and "people".

If I was kidding myself I would not be here. Please go post your pointless shit in a trashbin board. Thanks.

I do not listen to indie music as a genre, stop pretending you know things that you do not. Do you have fun being ignorant... cause it is not a game to me, or everyone else's IQ for that matter.

I love it when people bash it because I get to tell him how stupid they are.

You don't need to say it, you say it in the way you type. You're like any other close minded ignoramus that thinks their style of music is superior.

If you don't listen to mainstream, you're probably listening to indie or some other type of music that isn't signed to a label. Most of which isn't any good.

You're kidding me right? Since when is RATM mainstream?

    You know nothing about anything

What "music" do you listen to? I'd surely like to know what a musical elitist that knows nothing about music thinks about music.

My thoughts exactly :- /. I know they aren't totally "off the charts," but there is no way they are, or were ever, mainstream.

As for Rosco, I'm not even going to start with you. I see what you are doing. This is going to end up like arguing with a 7-year-old that says "why" to everything. Good day ;- ).

Rosco, get the fuck out, you're wrong in so many ways. I don't know what 'mainstream' is to you, but to me, it's any band or artist that receives air time on the radio. Rage Against The Machine has been on the radio before, so I would call them a mainstream band, but a better known mainstream band? Hell no. You say, "They are just like every other mainstream band that contributes nothing to society." Now since when does music have anything to do with contributing to society? Not saying that music can't influence a particular group of culture or anything, but to all of society? No. These guys chose to deliver their political message in a very powerful way; the music industry. Now, I said 'political message', does that mean whatever they say, you or anyone has to agree with? Again, no. Yet here you are, ranting against them because of their music type and how they cannot give to society. You obviously don't understand the art of music, considering everyone here is bashing you and your 'music' beliefs. Also, you sound a bit old to be here (Runescape cheating forum, joined this month), anyone else think? Another also, the quote you have in your signature (who the fuck is Dmitri Smarkschtof?) makes no sense at all. Explained above. Anyway, Rage being my favorite band of all time, it's pretty hard to choose 1 song. I might have to go with Guerrilla Radio though, which is one of the first tracks I ever listened to by them, and has currently been my ring tone for the past 3 years. I enjoy all of their music very much though, and no smart ass person that comes along telling me (or us, in this situation) should change it. This guy doesn't know shit.
