**Finding the current password for a computer? **

Hey, Well im in need of alittle help. A Good friend of mine has a computer, but there parents lock it with a password. Is there a way to get the current Password they have set, without any bootable CD's or anything.

As in : a password on the only user on the computer?

 

Honestly, Just stop spamming. And yes, theres one user acccount locked. and i need the current pw.

 

The only way I know of is to, guess. Think of some general things that your parent's are into i.e Fishing, Driving, Running Etc. I have done this a few times in the past, it does work. Just think hard!

Well there is one way. He could go into the safe mode which is the best admin on the computer. Then he can delete the password off the user account.

 

That wasn't my question.. I want the CURRENT PW SET ALREADY

 

Only way to do that then would be to put a key logger on..but that doesn't help you out much but thought you otta know..unless theres some program that i don't know.

 

What is your Operating System? If its Windows XP just boot into safe-mode and go under the Administrator Account Remove the password.

 

I DO NOT WANT THE PW REMOVED SIR. I want the Current PW.

 

Well that is all you can do, Or use a keylogger.

 

i know re-boot in safe mode. then get a programme [Searh google] Wich removes the ****** symbols and decodes uinto text [TATDYAYD]
so without removing it. you then know it. try that

 

You are asking for a ridiculous request. Basically what you're saying is "HOW DO I GET ONTO MY PARENTS COMPUTER SO I CAN PLAY RUNESCAPE BUT I DONT KNOW THE PASSWORD AND I DONT WANT TO CHANGE IT CAUSE I DONT WANT MY PARENTS TO FIND OUT"

No, the closest thing to it would be rebooting it in safe mode which can be done by rebooting your computer and then pressing F8 rapidly at the loading screen. Then changing the password when you get on.

 

I obviously know how to get into safe mode alright? Dont fucking think im stupid. As the first post says, MY FRIEND wants to know the current pw, is there a possible way? Yes? Please post it. No? Dont bother posting.

 

As I previously answered "No" there isn't a possible way of doing it.

 

Erm right if it is old version of windows type in admin for both.... if not restart computer and press f10 or one of the Fs and go to change pass
