    iPod Touch Trouble!

Hey. So, Thursday morning I downloaded iTunes. I had iTunes before, but we had to restore my computer because it crashed. So, I've been trying to force restore my iPod for like an hour, and it's not working. See, it went through the washer when I left it in my pants pocket, and it's locked for 39 years. [If you can't tell by now, I'm extremely irresponsible.] It says it can't restore my iPod touch. It tells me to check to see if I have to latest iTunes version. Um... unless they updated in the last 2 fucking days, I'm pretty sure I'm safe. T.T

And I even tried a manual restore, but there are no files to choose, let alone the correct firmware. Can anyone help? I'm willing to lose the files on my iPod, but it's been like this for months! D:

If you could read, you'd understand my problem, and how that's not a solution for it.

have you authorized your iTunes account on the new installation? Try that before restoring it.
