Infernal cape removal's mod tyran

does anyone know if any remote capes have been removed in the new ban wave today+ 400 infernal capes were removed and still 3k more to be taken out the game as i am worried about my accounts?? is jagex able to detect splashtop/parsec gaming now or would all the vapes being removed be vpns?

 

hard chance to detect parsec/teamviewer or remote capes imo id also recommend not making contact ingame with caper and pay in crypto

Hard to grasp my head around why Jagex even cares. The cape has been out for awhile now and I feel like they’re wasting a lot of resources to remove these capes. Idk silly IMO.

 

How did you go about getting your cape? Was it through a remote control application or did someone log into your account?

you should be fine with teamviwer. if you had someone else log in with their IP you better xfer everything and wait the ban out.

 

If they're done through Parsec they would have a difficult time telling that it was done by a service.

 

It has happened before in the past, even teamviewer capes

 

It's easily detectable even through parsec when you get a very good time cape on your first ever attempt.

 

I agree with decimate, the best way to avoid a ban would be to attempt the cape legitimately a few times first imo.

 

I believe most of those bans are from people not using Parsec/Splashtop. I've only really heard about people getting banned by having the caper log in on the account. A lot of people get their cape done on the 1st attempt remotely with no issue as well, as I could create an alt account right now and speed run my very 1st attempt. I don't think Jagex would take that risk. You should be fine.

 

I fortunately have been lucky as far as this, I've bought 1 but have done about 4 for my friends with no bans.
