"Thanks" System - easier way to gain trust.

Every system have an flaw and will be abused...This is a good idea.

 

The one thing you have to realize shroom, is how much effort it takes till you can actually give thanks. Ban evaders never last longer than a week - and it would take months of work to get trust.

 

FaGex's thanks system got abused so they had to remove it.

 

Maybe I should re-word my idea to a different name. You guys see the name, and don't even read my thread. My idea is completely revolutionized.

People already feel this way with the current vouch system. Imagine how bad someone could get scammed by having a couple vouches and thanks which are so much easier to obtain?

I'm sorry Seth, but after a long discussion on Msn, and reading some posts on here answering/asking questions, I have come to my decision.

I think Sythe would be better off staying this way.

This could be abused, and if a scammer was to answer questions and persuade New Members to give him/her "Thanks" they could gain false rep and scam. nice idea, but... not for Sythe lol

The users can't handle such a system. We tried before and we failed.

 

I'm pretty sure we've had something like this before, and it didn't work out.

 

No, this is going to fail. You know all the stupid kids on this site and they won't understand the rules and how this system goes. Too many people will abuse it and even though some mods will finally contribute something to the community (banning abusers) they'll still end up taking it out.

 

The thing is having +20 thanks won't really be good. I mean seriously? You don't know. We could have registered in 2007 then didn't play runescape then come back scamming and could scam 21 people before going negative.

I agree, i believe it would be a beneficial addition to the forum
